Brooke Shields’ Daughter Grier Wore Her Mom’s Andre Agassi Wedding Dress to Her High School Graduation
When it came time to pick a dress for her 2024 high school graduation, Brooke Shields’s daughter, Grier Henchy, 18, looked no further than Mom’s closet. “Her graduation dress was my first wedding dress,” says Shields of the gown she wore to marry tennis ace Andre Agassi in 1997.

00:09It was whiter, but had been so many years, it yellowed a little bit, which actually was

00:17And it had straps and it had a lot of crinoline underneath it.
00:23I wanted to look like in Fantasia, you know the little, whatever those little fairies

00:31Where they had these little bell dresses, almost looks like a tulip.
00:34And so that was the inspiration.
00:36And so she just made it strapless.
00:38We took out the poof and we re-boned it so that it was very, very tight.
00:43I think what it says to you is, you know, people want to demonize previous relationships
00:49or broken whatevers.
00:52And I never believed in that, you know?
00:55So it's sort of like, it deserves to be honored.
00:58I mean, it was perfect for what it was, when it was.
01:02It wasn't meant to be forever and, you know, I wouldn't have had them.
01:05And so it's, but you don't, but I don't want to look back with anger.
01:10And so when that happens and it's an honored, like it was, you know, she didn't look at
01:15it like, ugh, I'm not wearing that.
01:17Like, you know, he was a good guy, you know?
01:20So to me, that was, it's like a really big, full circle.
01:25But it honors something and it, I think that's healthy.
