TikTok mum's incredible back to school hacks

00:00We are not doing chaos this year. We are making life as easy and simple as

00:04possible. One thing I'm doing to achieve that is prepping my daughter's clothes

00:08for the week so that we don't have to stress in the mornings finding something

00:10to wear for school. This was super easy to do. The first thing I did was find

00:14these cute free printables off of Pinterest to label her boxes with. We're

00:18only going to do Monday through Friday since that's the only days that we're

00:21really on a time crunch. After cutting all the labels out, I placed two rows of

00:26tape along the back and then because I'm a perfectionist, I had to cut the

00:30tape so that it looked all nice and pretty and even and then I just pressed

00:33it onto the inside of the box so that you can see it easily from the outside.

00:37Next, I picked out all of her outfits for the week. I picked out shirts, pants,

00:42underwear. I would have thrown socks in here. Just everything that she needs for

00:46the day that way she doesn't have to think about it at all in the morning. And

00:49that's it. It's a little bit of prep that makes the entire week so much easier and

00:53keeps us so much less stressed in the morning. So today was my daughter's first

00:56day of kindergarten and I wanted to share with you guys a little mommy life

01:00hack that made my life easier today. So this morning I was stressing out because

01:05I wanted this photo. I wanted this cute picture of my daughter holding the

01:10little sign. I ordered it on Amazon and I was trying to write on it. I'm not, I

01:16don't have any best handwriting. So here's the life hack. This is the photo

01:22that I took. This is the photo after I went into Canva and put the writing in

01:29on there. So yeah, instead of trying to make the board look super cute by like

01:35drawing all over it with markers, just take a picture with a blank board and

01:39then go into whatever editing software that you like and add the writing in and

01:43everything later on. It's what I did.
