The court case against former prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was not filed on the government’s instructions, says government spokesman Fahmi Fadzil.  The Communications Minister said the charges against the Perikatan Nasional chairman followed police reports lodged by representatives of the Pahang Palace, among others. 00:00What I would like to add in today's meeting is that a number of cases have been brought to the court

00:20regarding the issue of harassment, especially regarding the MP for Pago, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin,

00:30is not based on a report from the government, but is a result of a police report

00:38made by a representative from Istana Pahang.

00:42So the government is not involved in this matter.

00:46The investigation was carried out by the PDRM and the report was made based on the investigation.

00:58What is important to remember here is that the original police report is from Istana Pahang.

01:06It is the same as the harassment case against the Chief Minister of Kedah,

01:14where the police report was made by a representative from Istana Selangor.

01:21So in these two cases, the harassment case is related to the 3R issue

01:28and the police report was made by an Istana representative.

01:33So it is not unrelated to the government.

01:37So it is important for everyone to avoid raising the issue of the 3R,

01:46especially those involving the kings.
