The search and rescue (SAR) operation for the missing sinkhole victim will continue until there is a further directive, says Fahmi Fadzil.  The Communications Minister and Lembah Pantai MP said this when asked if the SAR would continue despite the upcoming National Day. 00:00I have received some instructions from NADMAR, Bomber, PDRM and IWK.

00:17Regarding the search and rescue efforts, I have also been given instructions on the function of the first and second beaches.

00:31Both facilities are responsible for processing waste for 1.8 million people in Kuala Lumpur.

00:41The search goes on, that's all I can say.

00:45But I can see that the dedication and the technical efforts are complete.

00:55From the location, upstream and downstream to here.

01:01I understand that all the waste will end here.

01:08And will not be able to cross this location because the remaining 0.4 million people will be separated in this facility.

01:37But from the location of the first manhole to here, I understand the distance is 7 km.

01:47Because next Wednesday is Independence Day, will this operation be carried out?
