It looks like fans may get a 'Ted Lasso' season four after all. The Emmy-winning soccer comedy is on track for a 4th season after the Warner Bros. Television picked up the options on three cast members from the show's original three-season run. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein and Jeremy Swift, under U.K.'s acting union Equity, have been approached to reprise their respective roles of Rebecca Walton, Roy Kent and Leslie Higgins.

00:53However, the stars also expressed their desire to continue telling their stories in some
00:59The season 3 finale did, however, function as a series finale of sorts.
01:03The main characters had a happy ending with Ted returning to Kansas to be with his son
01:07and ex-wife, Rebecca Ann Keeley making plans to start a women's team in Richmond, and
01:12Roy taking over as manager of AFC Richmond.
01:16Earlier this month, series co-creator Bill Lawrence admitted that a fourth season of
01:19the series depended on Sudeikis, who would have to uproot his life when he has two young
01:24children with ex Olivia Wilde.
01:26Not only is he the star, he's the head writer, and he's also the dude whose life just has
01:30to be completely overhauled and moved to a foreign country with young children.
01:35It's a big deal.
01:36So as a fan, if someone's like, oh it's gonna happen again, I'll go nuts.
