00:01Judge with Justice Once upon a time, there was a thief who lived
00:06in Makkah.
00:08She used to steal people's jewelry.
00:12Sometimes she would say that she would only borrow items but then never returned the items.
00:20After the Makkah victory, Muhammad ﷺ was still in town.
00:26At that time, one day, she went out at night and met a camp of travelers.
00:32She secretly took one of their bags, but the travelers caught her red-handed and tied her
00:39up.
00:41In the morning, they brought her to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
00:46After hearing the witnesses, the Prophet ordered them to punish her for her crime, because
00:53In the Quran, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala orders to give a very hard punishment to thieves.
01:00But she was from a very respected family.
01:05Some Quraysh leaders became very worried for her.
01:09They requested Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to remove her punishment, but he said no to them.
01:18Then they went to his beloved adopted grandson, Usama, who was very young at that time.
01:27At first, he denied them, but later when the Quraysh leaders requested very strongly, then
01:36he agreed to tell Muhammad ﷺ.
01:41After hearing him, Muhammad's face changed with anger.
01:48He asked Usama if he was requesting to break Allah's law.
01:56The Prophet said that even if his daughter did any crime, they would also get the punishment.
02:04Usama realized his mistake and became very sorry.
02:11In the evening time, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ came to the people and told them that many
02:19nations were destroyed because of their injustice.
02:24If someone was from a respected family, they would not get the right punishment.
02:31But the weak and poor people who did any small crime used to get very harsh punishments.
02:38And Allah never likes any kind of injustice, and we should always follow the Qur'an for
02:47all kinds of judgment.
02:49This story reminds us of Surah Ma'idah, verse 42, where Allah mentions that if we judge,
02:57we must judge with justice for all.
03:00And Allah loves those who do justice.
03:05May Allah help us to do justice for everyone in every single situation.
