Transcript
00:00Just east of the Everglades, some call it the magic city, others simply the 305, all
00:11I know.
00:12There are many reasons to love this popular city on Florida's Gold Coast.
00:17Bienvenida a Miami, welcome to Miami.
00:29Its diverse culture, unbeatable cuisine, nightlife, shopping, entertainment, art, white
00:39sand beaches, nature, and so many activities for the active lifestyle, cause over 25 million
00:46people from all over the world to visit Miami, making it the second most visited city in
00:51the U.S.
01:13This is the first of a two video series, our next video will show Miami Beach from North
01:18Beach to the famous South Beach, including the chain of islands between downtown and
01:23the beaches.
01:24In this video, we are going to take you around downtown and some of the vibrant neighborhoods
01:28around Miami, ride the new Brightline train to Fort Lauderdale and back, show the restaurants
01:34in Little Havana, oh the food, my heart is in Havana, oh na na eh, we'll ride the Thriller
01:40Speedboat, take a night cruise, and show you the many other boat tours of Miami, including
01:45an airboat ride.
01:47The Miami Riverwalk will take you to five shopping entertainment districts, the Miracle
01:52Mile in Coral Gables, the modern Brickell City Center, the artsy Miami Design District,
01:59the quaint Brunch Cafes of Coconut Grove, and Miami's number one attraction, Bayside
02:04Marketplace.
02:06Miami is full of art, we'll show you the Super Blue Museum and Wynwood Walls.
02:11We also explore the nature of Miami, from an alligator in the Everglades, to a sea lion
02:16at the Seaquarium, bike the Rickenbacker Causeway to Key Biscayne, and show Cape Florida State
02:23Park, travel to Fairchild Botanical Gardens, where we meet a dog named BB Pickles, parasail
02:29over Biscayne Bay.
02:32We run into Mike Tyson, you gotta understand you to be free, so if you're thinking about
02:38going to Miami, grab a Cafe Con Leche, and get ready to take some notes, a city whose
02:44excitement never fails.
03:03In 1874, a lady from Cleveland arrived in Florida with her dad.
03:08She saw the potential of this area that was nothing more than a big mosquito infested
03:12swamp.
03:13She convinced Henry Flagler to bring his Florida East Coast Railroad to Miami.
03:18In 1896, the city was incorporated, making Miami the only U.S. city to be founded by
03:23a woman.
03:24While the city wasn't very magical back then, Flagler had New York writer E.V.
03:28Blackman write an article to attract visitors, and it was he that named it the Magic City.
03:34The name Miami comes from the Miami Indian tribe that once lived here.
03:39Today Miami has the third largest skyline in the U.S. with over 300 skyrises.
03:44It is the largest cruise ship port in the world.
03:47As of the 2020 census, the Miami metro area is now the 8th largest metro area in the U.S.
03:54Ranked in 2018 as the 3rd richest city in the world, 2nd in the U.S.
03:58It is now over 70% Hispanic, while technically English is the official language.
04:04In many places, Spanish is really the dominant language.
04:07The Freedom Tower, used in the 1960s to process refugees from communist Cuba, today serves
04:13as a museum to those hardworking Cubans who have had such a great impact in the culture
04:17of Miami.
04:18No better place to see that than in Lodo Havana, where I'm going to get some Café Con Leche,
04:23FDL pub restaurant.
04:25There's also La Calata Gourmet across the street.
04:28We'll come back to Lodo Havana later and show you the restaurants, but for now we have
04:32a Brightline train to catch.
04:34Driving in Miami can be a real pain, so the more you can use public transportation, I
04:39think the more fun you'll have.
04:41Brightline has a huge terminal in downtown.
04:44You park in the Miami Central Garage, sometime in 2022 Miami's other commuter rail, the
04:50TriRail, will also serve this station.
04:52The tracks are already laid, both TriRail and Brightline currently travel to West Palm
04:57Beach.
04:58TriRail is a little slower, but has more stops including Miami Airport.
05:02Also the Metro Mover, Wilkie D. Ferguson station is here.
05:06Brightline is pet friendly, and there is a grassy area across from the station.
05:10The Brightline staff is extremely helpful.
05:13There are plenty of eateries in the station.
05:15On the ground floor, there's Joe the Juice Café.
05:18On the second floor, Ella Mia Café Bakery, and other restaurants and bars.
05:22From Miami to West Palm Beach, it's $15 to $19, to Fort Lauderdale $10 to $14.
05:28A premium ticket is about $13 to $24 more, but with that, you get access to the premium
05:33lounge, where there are free snacks and drinks, as well as free snacks and drinks while on
05:38the train.
05:39So, for me, it was worth it to go premium, having a small breakfast with yogurt and a
05:44granola bar.
05:45Also, a nice little table to get some work done.
05:48Being we are headed to Fort Lauderdale, I'd figure I'd watch this Fort Lauderdale Travel
05:52Guide by Tampa Aeromedia.
05:54We pass the Fort Lauderdale Airport and arrive in downtown.
05:57Later in 2022, Brightline will add a stop in Boca Raton, and in early 2023, we'll go
06:03all the way to Orlando.
06:05And plans are in the works to connect it all the way to Tampa.
06:09On their return trip, we ran into these nice people from the UK.
06:12So, how does this compare to the trains in England?
06:14It's smooth.
06:15I can't wait for it to take off, because I think it's going to be the smoothest flight
06:20I've ever had.
06:23Before we head back to Lodo Havana, we're going to take an airboat ride in the Everglades.
06:27There are several options for airboat rides.
06:29I saw two that were dog friendly.
06:31There was Miami Everglades Connection, but with them, you had to do a private ride to
06:36bring a dog.
06:37And that was at least $200.
06:39So I chose Coopertown Airboats, which allow dogs on the public tours, which are $26 for
06:44adults and $15 for children 6 to 11.
06:48Their website is a little outdated, but the ride was great.
06:52Excellent tour guide with a great sense of humor.
06:56If I am not faster than you, I can trip you, kick you, punch you, whatever I gotta do to
06:59be a little bit faster.
07:05I did this tour about an hour and 20 minutes before sunset, which is the best time for
07:10lighting.
07:11The sunlight is soft and warm, yet it is bright enough to see everything.
07:15I highly recommend them.
07:24We arrived back at Lodo Havana.
07:26On Calle Ocho, that's 8th Street in Spanish.
07:29It is here you'll find eateries, cigar shops, bars, and souvenirs.
07:34Taste some gourmet ice cream and sorbet.
07:36In Cuban and tropical flavors, azucar ice cream.
07:40Maximo Gomez Park, better known as Domino Park, where the locals play dominoes and chess.
07:45Parking can be hard to find in the late afternoons and evenings.
07:49You might want to try this double-decker tour that takes you to the Art Deco District, Coconut
07:53Grove, and Lodo Havana.
07:54You can hop on and hop off.
07:56Pick up a Cuban hat or a guayabera, that's a Cuban shirt, from El Papa, who owns Diaz's
08:02guayaberas.
08:03For food, there's Old Havana's Cuban Bar and Cocina with live music.
08:07The El Pub restaurant that we had coffee from earlier.
08:11Enjoy tacos, antojitos, quesadillas, and burritos at El Santo Taqueria.
08:16I chose this El Cristo restaurant.
08:18On the menu, they have this bandeja El Cristo.
08:21It's a Cuban platter.
08:22It gives you a good variety of Cuban beef, roasted pork, black beans, yuca, and tamal.
08:27Perfect if you are a gringo like me and want to taste some Cuban cuisine.
08:32Delicioso!
08:38After a good night's sleep at La Quinta Airport East, which I'll show at the end of the video,
08:42we are heading south on a scenic drive through Coral Gables on Old Cutler Road, heading to
08:46Fairchild Tropical Gardens.
08:48I recommend this drive early in the day with the morning sun glistening through the unique
08:52vintage trees.
08:54Just beautiful!
08:55We filmed the gardens on a cloudy day, but had to do it on this day, because every Sunday
08:59morning from 8am to 10am, they allow you to bring a dog.
09:04B.B. Pickles here enjoying the morning at the garden.
09:07What's your dog's name?
09:08Her name is B.B. Pickles.
09:09B.B.?
09:10Hey, B.B. Pickles!
09:11That's my favorite dog!
09:14This is an 83-acre botanical garden with an extensive collection of rare tropical plants.
09:19It is $25 for adults, $12 for children, 6 to 17.
09:24Ran into Rita here, who is a subscriber of ours.
09:26She works at the Glass House Cafe.
09:28A lot of people coming in, and on Halloween, we do a costume party instead for the adults,
09:33we do it for the dogs.
09:35Heading back towards downtown Coral Gables, the Old Cutler Trail runs along Old Cutler
09:39Road, a 13.5-mile trail that ends at this roundabout.
09:44The Cartagena Park.
09:45You can park here.
09:46This is where the Commodore Trail begins, a 5-mile trail that runs along Main Highway
09:50and Bayshore Drive, takes you through Coconut Grove and along several parks, including Peacock
09:56Park, that we'll show in a little bit, as well as the Vizcaya Museum.
10:01The Venetian Pool, a spring water from an underground aquifer public pool, is one of
10:06Coral Gables' most popular attractions.
10:08It is $60 for adults, $11 for children, but closed December and January.
10:14The Biltmore, a landmark of Coral Gables.
10:16The Biltmore Tennis Center and Golf Course surround the hotel.
10:21Downtown Coral Gables, known for its high-end shopping at the Miracle Mile and Treeline
10:25Boulevards, when in Miami, it's good to download this pay-by-phone app.
10:29Makes paying for parking convenient.
10:31The Miracle Mile, while still nice, but with the rise of other shopping entertainment districts
10:36like Brickell City Center and Miami Design District, it is not the happening place that
10:41it was.
10:42I think it needs a little bit of an update.
10:44Other areas in Coral Gables, like the shops at Miracle Park and Outdoor Mall, just 20
10:48blocks from the Miracle Mile, is more modern and nicer.
10:52The Coral Gables Trolley is free and runs every 10-12 minutes weekdays and Saturdays,
10:57up to 8pm.
10:59Just 3 miles southeast of downtown Coral Gables is Coconut Grove, or what the locals
11:03simply refer to as The Grove.
11:06This is the perfect place for morning coffee or brunch.
11:09Several cafes with outdoor seating.
11:13I'm going to Panther Coffee to have some Quiche Lorraine with a cup of brew and enjoy the
11:17sidewalk seating.
11:19I was pleasantly surprised.
11:21Not much of a wait.
11:22Not very crowded.
11:23Maybe that's because there is a big chain coffee shop across the street you may have
11:27heard of.
11:29On the corner of Main Highway and Commodore Plaza, you have two good patio eateries.
11:33On the right, Lulu's, a tapas bar and restaurant, open late on weekends.
11:39And across the street, the Green Street Cafe with American Eats.
11:42Or try Mexican food at the Taco Way.
11:48Between this dining district and Dinner Key Marina are multiple parks with paved trails
11:52and an outdoor fitness gym area to get a little workout in before I go parasailing.
12:01Dinner Key Marina is located along South Bay Shore Drive, next to the Miami City Hall.
12:06This is where you'll find Miami Water Sports, at Pier 9 here.
12:10However, the public parking is over here near City Hall.
12:13There are parking spots closer to the piers, but they are for the marina staff, not for
12:18the public.
12:19With Miami Water Sports, you can rent jet skis, hobbycats, kayaks, and paddle boards.
12:23Go flyboarding or ride the Banana Boat, which is a long tube ride while being pulled by
12:28a motor boat.
12:29It is $55 per person.
12:33The parasailing is $129 per person.
12:35You book either the 10am to 1pm slot, or the 1pm to 4pm slot.
12:40I was there at 9.30am, and it was over 90 minutes before the first boat went out.
12:44Because you are waiting for everyone to fill out their waivers.
12:47Something I think which could be speeded up if they would send you a link to that waiver
12:51when you first book.
12:52So it takes up more time than it should.
12:54It's not like other parasailing companies I've done, where you book a certain time,
12:58and you go right out at that time, taking care of all your waivers online before you
13:01arrive.
13:02However, once we went out, it was great.
13:04Kyle and Landon, our guides, were excellent and fun.
13:10Marlo and Orva here, visiting from Atlanta, went up first.
13:14The total time on the boat is about an hour, and the flight time they say on the website
13:18is about 7-12 minutes.
13:20However, in our case, it was about 5-6 minutes.
13:2530 seconds until touchdown.
13:28But still worth it.
13:29They give you the option if you want to be splashed in the ocean, before you land.
13:33Landing gear now down and locked.
13:39Main gear touchdown.
13:41Point the drag chute.
13:42Nose gear touchdown.
13:50We now head towards Key Biscayne, also on Coconut Grove.
13:53This is the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.
13:55This is a 1916 Italian Renaissance waterfront estate home, with 32 decorated rooms and 10
14:01acres of formal gardens.
14:04Tickets must be purchased online, and it's $25 for adults, $10 for children, 6-12.
14:09The Rickenbacker Causeway connects Virginia Key and Key Biscayne with the mainland.
14:24Along the causeway is Hobie Island Beach Park.
14:27If you don't have a Hobie Cat or windsurfing setup, you can rent one from Miami Water Sports
14:32here.
14:40You can also bike along the causeway, or just park and lay out on the beach.
14:50I have my Timber Ridge Beach Cart.
14:53Love this cart.
14:54You can throw everything into the cart, and you have everything you need at the beach,
14:57with big wheels that easily roll over the sand, and Bella seems to love it.
15:01I put an Amazon link in the description below.
15:04It's easy to fold up and put away.
15:06By using our links, it helps us to pay for making these videos.
15:09The bridge to Virginia Key has a pedestrian path, makes for a nice walk or jog, with a
15:14great view of the Miami skyline.
15:20On the other side of the bridge is a long fishing pier, part of the old Rickenbacker
15:23Causeway.
15:26On Virginia Key is the Miami Seaquarium.
15:29If you book online, it is $48 for adults, $40 for kids, 9 and under.
15:34That is with taxes and fees.
15:36There are marine mammal shows with dolphins and sea lions, exhibits with manatees, sea
15:41turtles, penguins, and a touch tank with rays.
15:47For an additional charge, you can swim with a dolphin or seal, or do a penguin or dolphin
15:52encounter.
15:56In Discovery Bay, view a green sea turtle, or see a California sea lion, just chilling.
16:07Now crossing the bridge onto Key Biscayne.
16:13At the end of Key Biscayne is Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, and the Cape Florida Lighthouse,
16:18which is the oldest structure in Miami-Dade County.
16:21Built in 1825, visitors can climb the 109 steps to the tower as part of a tour five
16:27days a week, at 10am or 1pm.
16:30The tower is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
16:32No extra fee for the lighthouse, but it is an $8 per vehicle entry fee for the state
16:37park.
16:39The west side of the island provides areas for fishing, with a walking trail around the
16:43edge.
16:44On the other side of the lighthouse, the east side of the island, is Cape Florida Beach,
16:48with beach chairs and umbrellas already set up available for rent, with lighthouse beach
16:52rentals.
16:53$25 for one umbrella and two chairs.
16:56This beach also has a handicap accessible crossover to the beach from the parking lot.
17:00You can rent these quadricycles, or beach cruisers, with lighthouse beach rentals.
17:05The Lighthouse Cafe is here, a seafood restaurant.
17:08There is also another restaurant on the west side of the island, the Boulders Grill, with
17:13Latin food overlooking No Name Harbor.
17:16Boulders able to dock along the harbor.
17:18During busier periods, they will have this food trailer.
17:21Picnic Tiki Huts located around the harbor as well.
17:25Heading back on the causeway, Miami has a tropical climate, therefore weather can change
17:30quickly.
17:31It can be a bright sunny day, then all of a sudden stormy and rainy, and then before
17:36you know it, back to sunshine.
17:40On the north end of Virginia Key is the Rusty Pelican, a great seafood restaurant, excellent
17:45views of the Miami skyline and sunset.
17:58Now finally to Miami's number one visited attraction.
18:01The Bayside Marketplace, located in downtown on Biscayne Bay.
18:05A two-story open shopping center, lots of green space in front and next to Bayfront
18:10Park, with a view of the impressive skyline of Miami.
18:14We'll give you a tour around the marketplace later, but for now, we have a speedboat ride
18:18to catch.
18:19It is here that you can board about 95% of the boat tours of Miami.
18:23First up is the Thriller Speedboat, passing by the Biscayne Lady, a yacht charter you
18:27can rent for an event or wedding.
18:30We have shown you these before by drone in our Clearwater Beach video and previous Miami
18:34video, but this time we are taking you on the boat.
18:38Riding the Green Hurricane Boat, it's the newer boat of their fleet.
18:41I don't know if there's any difference in the ride with the other yellow Thriller boats.
18:45In my opinion, this is the most fun 45 minutes you can spend in Miami.
18:50As the name suggests, it's a thrill ride.
18:52It is $38 for adults, $29 for children 3 to 11.
18:57Be aware the boat gets rocky at times, so if you have any back or medical issues, take
19:01that into account.
19:03Only service dogs are allowed, but again, have a good restraint on your animal, because
19:07the boat hops up and down pretty good.
19:10The boat does slow down around the Celebrity Homes on Star Island with a narrated tour,
19:15and then it speeds up again, takes you out through the inlet into the Atlantic, and goes
19:20a pretty good distance around South Beach.
19:25We make our way back, passing the South Point Park Pier.
19:31We will come back to South Beach in our next video, but for now, we still have a lot in
19:34downtown to show you.
19:36We arrive back at Bayside Marketplace.
19:39We'll show you the rest of the boat tours later, but let's show you another form of
19:42transportation to see Miami.
19:44On weekends, I recommend parking in the Bayside Garage early, because in late afternoons and
19:48evening it gets pretty crowded.
19:50I chose to park here all day, and just take the Metro Mover to the other places of interest.
19:55This people mover is free to ride, and very frequent, about every 3 minutes, so a good
20:00way to move around downtown, and gives you a scenic view of Miami.
20:05Some of the places of interest where there is a Metro Mover station, are the Frost Museum
20:09of Science, the Perez Art Museum, and the Miami Riverwalk.
20:15We are taking it to the Brickell City Center.
20:21Brickell is a neighborhood full of glittering business towers and luxury condos on the other
20:25side of the Miami River, with rooftop bars and surf and turf grills.
20:30The Brickell City Center is a modern chic shopping mall, with a variety of eateries,
20:34art galleries, and fashionable boutiques.
20:37Near the Metro station as you first walk into the city center, is Chi, a Latin Asian fusion
20:42dining and nightlife venue, that includes the Mercado Restaurant, modeled after a Chinese
20:46themed market.
20:47This is a grab and go eatery, with a garden and lounge area overlooking the city's skyline.
20:52Next to the Mercado is Pasion Del Cielo, an espresso bar with plenty of baked items, for
20:58coal fired Cuban cuisine, try Marabu.
21:01You can see a movie with a dinner, at CMX Movie Theaters, also the Stone Sports Bar.
21:07The Brickell City Center has over four levels of dining, shopping, and entertainment, spread
21:11across three city blocks.
21:14I got my coffee, now it's time to head to the Miami Riverwalk.
21:19The Riverwalk is one area where I think Tampa and Fort Lauderdale does a little better job
21:22than Miami.
21:24While Miami is very scenic and nice, just not the eateries, nor the easily accessible
21:28water recreation options you see in Tampa, although there is a good eatery, AWA Miami,
21:34an Asian restaurant with dining right on the river.
21:36Best way to see the river is on a boat, or a floating tiki bar, with Miami Cruising Tikis,
21:41it is $60 for a 90 minute cruise, or rent the whole tiki from $350 to $450.
21:47They are located next to the Skywheel, between Bayside Marketplace and Bayfront Park.
21:59Another place you can get to by public transportation is the Super Blue Museum.
22:03You have to take the Metrorail Orange Line train to the Santa Clara Station.
22:08There is limited parking here, so good to take Metrorail.
22:11In our six days of filming Miami, one day had rain, so we used that day to do the museums.
22:17Super Blue is an immersive art experience, with some interactive exhibits, like this
22:21room where you touch the walls and the image changes.
22:24Parts of it are self-guided and others you stick with a group.
22:27It is $39 for adults and $34 for children, $3-12 if booked online.
22:33There is a Blue Rider Cafe here as well for food.
22:41Across the street from Super Blue is the Rubel Museum.
22:44A mile and a half east of Super Blue is the Wynwood Walls, which feature huge colorful
22:48street murals by artists from all over the globe.
22:51It is $12 to enter.
22:53You buy your tickets with these ATM machines near the entrance.
22:57There is art all over this neighborhood, so you can view a lot of murals even if you don't
23:01enter the Wynwood Walls area.
23:04Just a mile north of Wynwood Walls is the Miami Design District, a modern shopping dining
23:09area with luxury fashion and celebrity chef restaurants amidst an artsy open-air environment.
23:15One of the things you can design here is a Tesla Model 3, the best-selling electric car
23:21in the world.
23:22Try a Japanese dessert with this Japow kiosk or some modern French cuisine at L'Atelier
23:28des Jeux Robuchon.
23:30The Tomorrowland within the Design District features a series of playfully designed sculptures,
23:36seating, and ornamentation.
23:39The Fly's Eye Dome, a geodesic dome designed by inventor Buckminster Fuller.
23:44The Mio Market, a gourmet food hall with a variety of global dining options, anchored
23:50by a craft cocktail bar.
23:55Now heading back to Bayfront Marketplace.
23:57You know, every time I film here, Bayfront Park is closed off because of an event.
24:02Two years ago, it was the Super Bowl.
24:04On this day, there was a fitness competition happening.
24:07At Bayside Marketplace, as well as great ethnic food, you can pick up souvenirs like at the
24:12Tin Man.
24:13You know, Oz never gave nothing to the Tin Man that he didn't already have.
24:18I needed to pick up a more Miami-ish attire at this Caribbean Life shop, as well as a
24:23coffee mug.
24:24Prices were pretty reasonable, I was pleasantly surprised.
24:27Okay, now I'm getting hungry.
24:29There's the Segafredo Bayside in the center of the marketplace with Italian food and coffee.
24:34During the day, and cocktails and live music at night.
24:40There's the Mambo Cafe for Cuban food with live music on weekends.
24:46The Hard Rock Cafe with the Landshark Bar and Grill below.
24:49The new Observation Wheel is $17 for adults and $15 for kids 4 to 11.
24:55Each ride is 12 to 15 minutes.
24:59Near the Observation Wheel, on the second floor, you can walk through the Dino Safari.
25:04I'm going to pick up some Argentinian food here at the Knife Steakhouse.
25:09This is Parriana with Argentinian mixed vegetables.
25:13Really good.
25:14Have a nice conversation with Will here about freedom.
25:23We understand life, that's your freedom.
25:27Freedom don't come just be freedom.
25:29You got to understand you to be free.
25:33When night falls on Miami, the energy around Bayside Marketplace increases to a new level.
25:39With the bars, nightclubs, and night cruises.
25:43Now time to show you the other boat tours.
25:55There's Spirit Yacht Charters with a two-hour tour on a snorkel and sail cruise or a sightseeing
26:00cruise.
26:01There's Florida Catamaran, $65 for adults, $30 for kids, $20 discount for seniors.
26:07There's Bay Ride Tours, a 90-minute cruise, $21 for adults, $14 for children 4 to 12.
26:14Captain Jimmy's Fiesta Cruises, a day celebrity cruise, $25 for adults, $17 for children.
26:21For a night party cruise, add $3.
26:24Island Queen Cruises, a 90-minute cruise, a millionaire's row, $28 for adults and $20
26:30for children 4 through 12.
26:34In Miami, Aqua Tours with a 90-minute cruise on the El Loro Pirate Ship, $35 for adults
26:40and $20 for children 4 through 12.
26:45Or for the same rates, you can also take the sightseeing cruise on the Island Princess,
26:49which is what we are going to do.
26:51Always recommend to do a night cruise when you are in Miami.
26:54Just a great view of the skyline with the reflection on the water.
26:57As well as the Celebrity Homes along Star Island.
27:01A big cruise all lit up headed out to the Caribbean.
27:04I will advise on this particular cruise there was explicit music, so if looking for a family
27:09friendly cruise, you might want to check on that ahead of time.
27:22As we are nearing the end of our video, I want to point out another really good restaurant,
27:27especially if you are flying into Miami.
27:29It's on the edge of the airport, the 94th Aero Squadron.
27:33Kids like me will love it, because you can listen to the Miami Control Tower with headphones.
27:39And a view of the planes and the trains that go by.
27:42While I am currently having dinner here, this coming weekend I plan to have brunch here
27:46after filming a conference in Miami, because their brunch is out of this world.
27:52For lodging, we stayed at the pet friendly La Quinta Airport East.
27:56It's a good clean hotel, very reasonable rates, close to 3 major highways of Miami, and has
28:02a good grassy area.
28:04Just note though, that the planes from the airport fly right overhead.
28:07So if you are a light sleeper, be aware at around 6.30am, you start to hear the rumble
28:12of the jets.
28:13A couple of years ago, we watched Air Force One and the President fly right overhead.
28:19It was awesome.
28:20Yes, Miami has a lot of traffic, and you will see a lot of aggressive drivers.
28:25Sometimes a little rude, and finding parking can be a real pain.
28:30But the payoff for dealing with all of that, is an experience like few cities can offer.
28:35It is a vacation destination, that you really do want to take some time to plan for.
28:40Check on parking ahead of time, know the routes you are going to take, think of the time of
28:44day.
28:45And if done right, I think you will leave this city with a feeling of wow.
28:49Eso fue divertido.
28:51Also don't go right back to work after, because you might need a couple of days to recover
28:55from your Miami getaway.
