00:14Muhammad Shafiq, a delivery man, shares his successful routine by using the highway a lot every day.

00:21According to him, road users face the risk of accidents and risk their lives every time they use a damaged highway, especially motorcyclists.

00:33It's dangerous for motorcyclists, usually two tires, a little mistake, it's an accident, the risk is very high.

00:55Damaged roads are not a new issue and are always raised by road users, as they can cause inconvenience, property damage, and worst of all, cause mental illness.

01:10Most of them question why the damaged road is not immediately repaired and maintained by the authorities.

01:18I feel a little disappointed because the damaged roads are very dangerous for motorcyclists.

01:24I don't know where to report this to anyone, and I myself am a businessman, so I don't have time to go to the police.

01:32The FMT team found that there are many types of roads, including public roads, national roads, and airport roads.

01:39Public roads are controlled by the Ministry of Public Works through the Ministry of Public Works, while national roads and airports are managed by the state and local authorities.

01:50A 26-year-old auditor, Muhammad Farid Azim, said he would continue to blame the government without knowing that the roads in this country are guarded by various parties.

02:03Before this, if we find a damaged road, we always blame the government, but in fact, not all roads are under the KKR.

02:12The KKR on August 24, 2023 launched the MyJalan application to facilitate people to report road damage, road lights not working,

02:23landslides, floods and others, only using smart phones, including sending pictures and GPS locations.

02:31MyJalan will accept all road complaints with the No Wrong Door principle, which will then be transferred to the responsible parties,

02:40such as the KKR, the state or airport, to conduct an investigation.

02:46According to the 2024 budget, the KKR has received a deposit of 2.345 billion ringgit,

02:53which reflects the government's priority in ensuring that the country's infrastructure is in optimum condition.

03:53Based on the same statistics, 40.50% of complaints involving roads with holes,

04:0117.79% involving roads with holes, 16.18% involving road lights, 10.33% involving traffic lights and others.

04:14With the MyJalan initiative, our complaint will arrive and in a way,

04:19it will save our motorbikes and cars from being damaged by the holes.

04:25Maybe from our complaint, it can save a life, reduce the risk of accidents.

04:51KKR also needs to prove that MyJalan is truly effective and not just symbolic without welcoming the people.
