00:00The lawyer who represented Zainuddin's uncle's son

00:06claimed that he was ordered by the Malaysian police to arrest his son

00:11if he insisted on being accompanied by the lawyer when questioned.

00:16Rajis Nagarajan demanded an explanation from the SPRM

00:20and the Minister of Home Affairs

00:22for claiming that his son was denied the right to be represented by the lawyer.

00:27He also claimed that the rights and safety of Wira Dhani Abdul Daim

00:31would be protected.

00:33In a statement, Rajis said that Wira Dhani was called by the SPRM yesterday

00:38to give a statement in an investigation

00:40by the agency against his father,

00:42who was also a former Minister of Finance, Daim Zainuddin.

00:46According to him, Wira Dhani repeatedly asked for his presence

00:49during the investigation process

00:51but the SPRM officers prevented him from being with his son.

00:56Rajis said that as a result of the SPRM's actions

00:59and violating the law,

01:01Wira had to undergo an investigation for several hours

01:04without the presence of his lawyer.
