Heatwave in China leaves vehicles covered with huge bubbles

  • last week
A heatwave in China left vehicles looking as if they were about to explode.

Video filmed in Enshi in Hubei province, in June shows spherical bubbles on the hood and doors of a purple vehicle.

The unusual phenomenon was caused by record-breaking temperatures in the country.

With the heat, the protective films on car exteriors swelled up, earning them the nickname of "pregnant cars."
