00:16Members Marcos Adoro, Eli Buendia, Raymond Merasiga, and Buddy Zabala each receive a
00:21medal and are met with loud cheers from the audience.
00:24The Gawad Ablation medal takes inspiration from the early Philippine flags, UP's signature
00:28colors, and the iconic ablation statue.
00:31It represents history and the importance of humanity in the university's achievements.
00:35It was designed by the late artist and professor, Leo Abaya.
00:39The band's frontman, Buendia, says the Eraserheads would not exist without UP.
00:44The band is about to embark on their Huling El Bimbo World Tour, which stops in Singapore
00:48and Dubai.
