00:00With one week until the Paralympic Games get underway, it's a new time test for workers.
00:06The transformation of Olympic sites is almost finished, with modifications to properly host
00:11the sometimes little-known Paralympic disciplines.
00:15At the foot of the Eiffel Tower, the beach volleyball venue will instead host blind football
00:20on a brand new playing field.
00:22Removing the beach volleyball sand meant 400 tonnes, which would have been very difficult
00:28in the time we had.
00:29So we decided to cover the sandpit.
00:32Blind football counts five players per team.
00:36Players wear masks because some of them can perceive light.
00:39There are other modifications, like the ball that emits a noise.
00:43The South Paris arena is also changing.
00:46The former Olympic volleyball site will play stage to boccia events.
00:50Spectator seating has been halved, with more space dedicated to the Paralympians.
00:56In the neighbouring hall, goalball is replacing handball.
01:00A few adjustments were required to ensure players can hear the ball clearly.
01:07We added soundproof curtains to ensure that training areas do not disturb the competition
01:11area.
01:14With competition kicking off on the 29th, the para-athletes are set to start training
01:19here this week.
