00:00I have to admit it's a bit daunting. I have been living quietly in my old truckies on

00:08the outskirts of Melbourne for the last 25 years. And just singing to myself at home.

00:15And I didn't think I was ever going to do anything like this, you know, the old granny.

00:23And I am an old granny. But anyway, when Ron and Glenn and Tony said that they wanted to

00:32do this for Ted, I thought it was such a lovely idea. And so good to think of Ted as a songwriter.

00:39I didn't even know all the songs that he had. He has so many lovely songs. And it's such

00:46a pleasure to work with all the musicians. They're all such good musicians. And all the

00:52singers, there's so many singers on the concert. And every one of them is different. And as

00:57a vocalist, it's just fascinating to sort of hear all the little nuances of each person.

01:04And they're all liking, you know, the songs and lyrics. It's great. And I also, while

01:09I'm thanking people, I might as well thank the people who run the theatre. And everybody

01:15else. Because without all of that, you know, where do we go? Back to the pub. Something

01:21like that. Anyway, I'm going to sing a song with Sam, who I think is the most wonderful

01:28piano player. And he's so sympathetic, any singer would like to get her hands on him.

01:35This is a very sad ballad that I used to sing years ago that I've always loved. I'm not

01:43sad, but I can remember what it was like. Deep in the night, I remember. There I am,
