00:00where you live matters when it comes to accessibility to childcare.
00:03What we found was that inner metropolitan areas had much better
00:07accessibility to childcare than other metropolitan areas
00:10and metropolitan areas overall had much much better access than
00:13regional areas and there was a really strong finding there that is
00:17that regional areas actually had the lowest levels of accessibility.
00:22All right so this is a map of childcare accessibility for Sydney.
00:25The blue areas have greater levels of childcare access and the red areas
00:30have lower levels and what you kind of get is you can see in the
00:34closer to the CBD and probably in the more advantaged areas it's blue
00:38there's more childcare available and as you go further out you get less and less.
