00:00Oh, hey. I've been expecting you. It's Dominique Thorne here, and it is premiere day! Come
00:10on, Hoo-Wa-Wear. Let's go on this journey together. Come.
00:15I think my getting ready playlist is probably anything that has some Tina Marie on there.
00:33I do love a good 80s, 90s throwback session. The music from that time, I feel like all
00:41of us here were kind of chatting about it. It's just so rich. There's always such a good
00:45story being told in those songs. My favorite part of getting ready for an event like this
01:00is definitely the creative process that happens before this moment. So working with hair,
01:09makeup, styling to sort of put the puzzle pieces together and really build the look.
01:15Kind of go on that journey of finding pieces, having pieces find you. It is this beautiful,
01:25like sheer, tulle, pink, nude, black dress from Prabal Gurung. This Asian-American designer
01:34that I'm super excited to step out in. I've never seen anything like it, and I think that
01:40the hair, makeup, accessories that we've got going to sort of complement it, like they've
01:48really come together to make a look. A look that I'm ready to serve. A lot of this look
01:56just came together out of trust. Trust and faith and hope and extremely talented individuals is
02:03what it is. Trusting good people. Trusting people who are not only excellent at their job,
02:08but who also love what they do. The dress that we ended up with is literally, I think it was
02:13the last dress that we tried on. We're kind of just like, okay, I think we found our piece. Like,
02:18I think we're good to go. And we're both kind of like, let's just see what this one looks like.
02:23Put it on. We're like, okay, yeah, so this is the dress. Which is hilarious because we almost
02:28didn't try it on. We've got such a, like a strong look that I think it's important to,
02:45like, balance it with, like, hair and makeup that's also pretty, like, easy and soft and,
02:53and yeah, it just kind of helps complement it. The nail color is also very simple. Bubble bath.
03:04Love her. Literally never a fail. But I also just learned, we were talking about this moments ago,
03:11that there's this new glazed donut thing going on, which I did not know about. But the nail tech was
03:16like, oh, do you want to try this? I said, sure. Honestly, after we spoke about what the initial
03:22idea was, I knocked out. So I woke up to these beautiful pink bubble bath, but also kind of,
03:29like, iridescent, like, oval shaped nails, which are super pretty. I'm, I have like a lip balm
03:40addiction. And then other than some, like, body moisturizer and my film camera, I think I'm pretty
03:48set. Am I nervous? Are we nervous? Let's see. I'm definitely, I think, intrigued to see what the
04:01vibes are going to be. Definitely a lot of anticipation, but I don't know about nerves.
04:08There's like this, like, giddiness, but also, like, tingling that I'm feeling. But it's definitely
04:16more in the direction of excitement, I think. After tonight, I'm definitely looking forward to
04:23the, to the wind down, to the good shower, a good end of day stretch, pre-bed yoga flow.
04:34Riri Williams is this 19-year-old super genius who has found herself at MIT. Definitely
04:44overconfident and overcomfortable with her experience there. She's not really looking
04:50to be understood, or she's not looking to do anything other than maintain her self-interest.
04:57And it's that sort of comfortability that gets her involved with Wakanda.
