00:33Be with those who are truthful.

02:06My message is love, no matter how far you go.
02:10We see Sufiya-e-Safiya as a practical example of this.
02:15They also play a fundamental role in the propagation of Islam.
02:21If you look at India,
02:24you will see one person at a time.

02:35Baba Fariuddin Ganj-e-Shakar.
02:39There is one person at a time who has propagated the message of love
02:45and through the message of love, he has propagated the message of Islam.
02:50Among these holy personalities, we see a prominent name,
02:55Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Rahimahullah.
03:00What is Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Rahimahullah?
03:03Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Rahimahullah is the greatest poet of Sindhi language.
03:15His poetry is called the Maulana Room of Sindhi language.
03:26Maulana Room is a great poet.
03:28Iqbal, the poet of East,
03:32considers him as his spiritual guide.
03:36Maulana Room is a spiritual guide for many poets.
03:45Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Rahimahullah is likened to Maulana Room Rahimahullah.
03:52Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai is a great poet.
03:55Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai is a great poet in Sindhi language.
04:05Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai is like Maulana Room Rahimahullah.
04:10Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai was influenced by Maulana Room Rahimahullah.
04:17Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai was influenced by Maulana Room Rahimahullah.
04:21We see a deep influence of Maulana Room Rahimahullah on his poetry.
04:27Today, we are here to present Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Rahimahullah with Kharaj-e-Tahseen.
04:33When we study the early stages of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Rahimahullah's birth,
04:43we come to know that he was born in 1101 AH or 1102 AH.
04:52This is the time when after the demise of Sultan Aurangzeb Alamgir,
04:59India was in a state of decline.
05:04For Sultan Aurangzeb Alamgir, Iqbal said,
05:08This was the last arrow of my demise.
05:12Sultan Aurangzeb Alamgir said that this was the last arrow of my Islamic demise.
05:20After Sultan Aurangzeb Alamgir, India was in a state of decline.
05:26In this period of decline, if we focus on the Sindh region,
05:34we see some personalities in Sindh who have served the cause of Islam.
05:41They have spread peace and harmony in the Sindhi society.
05:47They have also preserved the culture.
05:50One of their prominent names is Makhdoom Muin Thattavi Rahimahullah.
05:54The second prominent name is Makhdoom Hashim Thattavi Rahimahullah.
05:57The third prominent name is Sachal Sarmast.
06:00The fourth prominent name is Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Rahimahullah.
06:04Makhdoom Muin Thattavi Rahimahullah, also known as Mian Tharo,
06:11had a very good relationship with Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Rahimahullah.
06:14Makhdoom Muin Thattavi Rahimahullah had written a letter to Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Rahimahullah
06:27in response to four questions.
06:32The letter is in Farsi. It is published. It is a public document.
06:36The Urdu translation of this letter is also published from Karachi.
06:40It is also a public document.
06:42Historians have written about the birth of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Rahimahullah.
06:48It is said that the father of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Rahimahullah,
06:53Syed Habib Shah, was a Sufi saint.
06:57He had three wives, but none of them had children.
07:02He had an elder son, Syed Hashim Shah.
07:06Some have also mentioned his name as Abdul Latif.
07:09He went to Syed Hashim Shah for prayers.
07:13He said, Huzoor, please pray for my children.
07:18Those elders were famous for their prayers.
07:22Those elders prayed for him.
07:24After the prayers, they said that your wish will be fulfilled.
07:29When you have children, you will name them as Abdul Latif.
07:34With the prayers of those elders, Allah blessed Syed Habib Shah with children.
07:40Your son was born. He was named Abdul Latif.
07:43But after a while, he passed away.
07:46Allah blessed him again and gave him a son.
07:49He was named Abdul Latif.
07:52He is the same Syed Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Rahimahullah.
07:57In the future, he will shine in the skies of Sufism.
08:01He will shine in the skies of poetry.
08:04And he will shine in the skies of Sindh.
08:07He has made the land of Sindh his home with his message of love.
08:13And through Sindh, he has spread his blessings in the whole of India.
08:19So, Syedna Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Rahimahullah,
08:23When he was old enough to read,
08:26His father, Syedna Shah Habib,
08:30Syed Habib Shah's lineage is of Hassan.
08:34He meets Imam Hassan Mujtaba.
08:38He is from the family of Syedna Maulana Ali.
08:40So, Syed Habib Shah sent you to read,
08:44Hazrat Akhund Noor Muhammad Bhatti,
08:46who is near your area.
08:49The area where you were born is in Hala.
08:52Hala is a part of the district of Mityari.
08:56There was an area near Hala called Wai.
08:59There was a famous teacher in Wai,
09:02Hazrat Akhund Noor Muhammad Bhatti.
09:04He was a great scholar.
09:05To read to him,
09:06Habib Shah sent Syedna Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai.
09:10When Syedna Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai came to read to him,
09:13Since he was a child,
09:15he had a passion for Sufism.
09:17He had a passion for Sufism since childhood.
09:20He had a passion for Sufism since childhood.
09:22He had a passion for Sufism since childhood.
09:23He had a passion for Sufism since childhood.
09:26When he sat to read the Qaida,
09:28while reading the Qaida,
09:29the teacher taught him to read the letter Alif.
09:31He read the letter Alif.
09:32When he came and said,
09:33son, read the letter Ba.
09:34Or, if you look at it from the Arabic perspective,
09:36then it is Ba.
09:37So, he refused to read the letter Ba or Ba.
09:42Abu Bulleh Shah had said,
09:44Alif Allah ratta dil mera,
09:47minu Ba di khabar na kai,
09:50minu Ba padhiyan samaj naave,
09:52lazzat Alif di aai.
09:54Similarly, he also said to his teacher,
09:58Huzoor, I do not need Ba,
10:00Alif is enough for me.
10:03The teacher tried very hard to make him read further,
10:06but he refused to read further than Alif.
10:10So, his father, Syed Habib Shah Sahib was called.
10:13Syed Habib Shah Sahib was a Sufi saint himself.
10:16He understood this concept.
10:18So, he brought him back.
10:20And thus,
10:21your formal education and training
10:24did not happen outside the house.
10:26In fact, your father, Majid,
10:28trained you inside the house.
10:30You lived in the environment of the house.
10:32You were brought up inside the house.
10:34In the house,
10:35you did Iqtisab-e-Faiz with your father, Majid.
10:38You received training from him.
10:40The knowledge that you obtained,
10:42you obtained from him.
10:44Other than that,
10:45Allah the Almighty,
10:47in your nature,
10:49the power of observation,
10:51the ability to perceive through the power of observation,
10:54Allah had placed in your nature.
10:56This Malika was established in you.
10:58So, you used to observe.
11:00Through observation,
11:01you used to reach the results.
11:03You used to reach from the creature to the Creator.
11:06And when we look at the circumstances of your life,
11:09we also see that
11:11you were separated from Ishq-e-Majazi.
11:14There are different types of Sufis.
11:16We see their different styles.
11:18There are different thoughts.
11:20There are different beliefs.
11:22So, some Sufis,
11:23they were directly attracted by Allah.
11:26That is, they were drawn.
11:28The attraction of Rabbani
11:30attracted them and brought them up to Manazil.
11:33There are some who were
11:35sustained through a regular process.
11:38There are some who were
11:40enlightened through Ishq-e-Majazi.
11:44And there are some who were
11:46subject to their temperament and nature.
11:50They were kept in love with poetry and poetry.
11:54And they were taken forward through this path.
11:57And there are some who were
11:59not subject to their temperament,
12:01who did not have poetry in their nature.
12:03Shah Wadati Bhitai Rahim Maulana
12:05is one of those elders who were
12:07first sustained through Ishq-e-Majazi
12:09and then were enlightened through Ishq-e-Hakiki.
12:12As it is, there is a famous saying among the elders,
12:15Al-Majaz Kantaratul Haqiqah.
12:17Majaz is the bridge of Haqiqah.
12:20That is, the one who passed through Majaz,
12:22after passing through it,
12:24he is brought forward to Haqiqah.
12:26But there are some people,
12:28who are ordinary worldly people,
12:30who remain lost in Majaz.
12:32They do not reach Haqiqah.
12:34So those who remain lost in Majaz,
12:36and do not reach Haqiqah,
12:38do not reach Maqsood,
12:40they are Khaib-o-Khasir.
12:42That is why they have been reprimanded.
12:44And Ishq-e-Majazi has also been reprimanded.
12:46But those elders who through Majaz
12:48have reached Haqiqah,
12:50have reached Haqiqah,
12:52have reached Maqsood and Matloob,
12:54whose gaze is not on Masnoo,
12:56but on the manifestation of Saneh
12:58in Masnoo,
13:00whose gaze is not on the creation,
13:02but on the Creator.
13:04Those who have reached the Creator through the creation,
13:06those who have reached the Creator
13:08from the outer world of the mind
13:10and then from the world of the mind,
13:12what is the matter with those elders?
13:14Those elders,
13:16the emotions that we see in them,
13:18their thoughts and their thoughts,
13:20the depth and depth
13:22that we see in them,
13:24that is seen very little
13:26in other places.
13:28So Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Rahimullah
13:30also in his youth,
13:32Hazrat was also
13:34reprimanded for Ishq-e-Majazi.
13:36And then what Allah did was
13:38that the same women
13:40came under his contract.
13:42Allah has given such reasons
13:44that they themselves
13:46came to their homes
13:48and they themselves came
13:50and the Nikah ceremony took place.
13:52That is, Allah has
13:54given the world
13:56and Allah the Almighty
13:58has also given religion.
14:00So after going through the process of Ishq-e-Majazi,
14:02you reached the reality of Ishq.
14:04Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Rahimullah
14:06then started
14:08regular tourism.
14:10Because travel has been
14:12called the means of victory.
14:14So you have traveled
14:16in different areas.
14:18You have traveled a lot
14:20in Barisir Pak-o-Hind
14:22and you have also traveled
14:24abroad.
14:26You have traveled abroad.
14:28You have visited
14:30different areas regularly.
14:32And you have traveled
14:34for a long time.
14:36You met different people.
14:38Thoughts came
14:40and clarity came.
14:42Understanding and consciousness
14:44were born.
14:46To be born of understanding and consciousness,
14:48there is a key role of tourism
14:50in intellect, wisdom and clarity.
14:52And you have gone through
14:54the process of tourism regularly.
14:56That is,
14:58Allah the Almighty provided
15:00the means of your training.
15:02You did not get
15:04the benefit of
15:06the external teachers
15:08in the form of a school.
15:10But in the form of a home environment,
15:12then through tourism,
15:14then through the valley of Ishq,
15:16Allah the Almighty
15:18provided the means of your training.
15:20When you have gone through
15:22all these things,
15:24then in your thoughts,
15:26clarity came.
15:28In your thoughts, clarity came.
15:30In your understanding,
15:32in your thought, clarity came.
15:34And we see the effect of that clarity
15:36in your life.
15:38We see it in your speech.
15:40We see it in your speech.
15:42And when you speak,
15:44that speech affects the hearts.
15:46Why not?
15:48It affects the hearts.
15:50What comes out of the heart
15:52has an effect.
15:54But it does not have the power
15:56to fly.
15:58Hazrat Shah-ul-Hatib Bhitai
16:00Rahimahullah
16:02then also adopted a regular
16:04Khalwat Nashini.
16:06Most of your time
16:08was spent in regular observation.
16:10And in the last few years of your life,
16:12you used to take a sheet
16:14and observe regularly.
16:16Dear viewers,
16:18it is time for a short break.
16:20Inshallah, we will be back
16:22after the break.
16:24Dear viewers, welcome.
16:26Before going to the break,
16:28we were discussing
16:30that Hazrat Shah-ul-Hatib Bhitai
16:32Rahimahullah
16:34used to observe regularly
16:36like a Sufi or a Safi.
16:38He used to cover his head
16:40and observe regularly.
16:42And in the last few years of his life,
16:44you have spent a regular
16:46observation.
16:48And you had
16:50made your own residence.
16:52There was a place far away
16:54with a tilo.
16:56You went to that place and settled
16:58far away from your area.
17:00The name of that place
17:02was Bhit Shah.
17:04Bhit is called tilo
17:06in Sindhi language.
17:08The tilo of sand is called Bhit.
17:10So the name of that place
17:12was Bhit Shah.
17:14Because you used to
17:16sit there regularly,
17:18the name of that place
17:20was Bhit Shah.
17:22And because of that,
17:24you were also called
17:26Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai.
17:28And today,
17:30it is like Mars in the jungle.
17:32At that time,
17:34that place was deserted.
17:36But when you gave it to
17:38your guest,
17:40that place was like a
17:42sanctuary for him.
17:44At the same time,
17:46you are celebrated
17:48every year with great
17:50reverence.
17:52So Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai
17:54was one of the
17:56true Sufis of Safia.
17:58And the true Sufis of Safia
18:00have a soft, loving
18:02and compassionate relationship
18:04with the creation of God.
18:06They have a similar relationship
18:08with the religious scholars.
18:10And their relationship
18:12with the religious scholars
18:14is also good.
18:16They never have any
18:18bitterness.
18:20If the religious scholars
18:22have any bitterness,
18:24it is from the religious scholars
18:26who are not familiar
18:28with the true Sufis.
18:30Or they are not familiar
18:32with the pleasures of
18:34the knowledge of the inner world.
18:36So they spread love
18:38for everyone.
18:40And the religious scholars
18:42respect and honor them even more.
18:44So your relationship
18:46with the religious scholars
18:48was also very good.
18:50Especially with the great
18:52personality of Sindh,
18:54Hazrat Makhdoom Muin Thattavi
18:56Rahimahullah, who is
18:58known as Mian Tharo.
19:00You had very good relations
19:02with him.
19:04And as I said
19:06at the beginning of the program,
19:08you had submitted
19:10a survey of four questions
19:12to him.
19:14And he gave the answer
19:16in the form of a letter.
19:18And the name of the letter
19:20is Risala-e-Owaisia.
19:22It is also called Risala-e-Darsilsala-e-Owaisia.
19:24And in short, it is also called Risala-e-Owaisia.
19:26Which he studied in Farsi.
19:28And when Makhdoom Muin Thattavi
19:30Rahimahullah passed away,
19:32Hazrat Shah Abdullati Bhittai Rahimahullah
19:34went to his funeral.
19:36In fact, some narrations
19:38even say that
19:40you led the funeral.
19:42And you used to go to Thatta
19:44from your area often
19:46to meet him.
19:48When Makhdoom Muin Thattavi
19:50Rahimahullah passed away,
19:52you said that now there is
19:54no one left for us.
19:56Now we will not come here.
19:58So this is what happened.
20:00Hazrat Shah Abdullati Bhittai Rahimahullah
20:02did not go to Thatta.
20:04So you had a good relationship
20:06with the Ulema.
20:08And with the common people,
20:10your lifestyle was the same.
20:12You used to get along with the people.
20:14You did not have any
20:16separate style for yourself.
20:18You did not have a separate personality.
20:20You used to live like ordinary people
20:22in Waza-e-Qata, in your lifestyle.
20:24Your relationship with the people
20:26was the same.
20:28You used to listen to people
20:30with a lot of attention.
20:32And you used to help
20:34those who were in need.
20:36And you were a human being.
20:38You used to be kind
20:40to animals and birds.
20:42You used to treat them well.
20:44Often, you used to call
20:46the birds and explain
20:48to them.
20:50You used to tell them not to
20:52imprison the birds.
20:54You used to tell them not to
20:56hunt the animals.
20:58It is a different story
21:00if someone is helpless.
21:02But you used to tell them
21:04not to hunt the animals.
21:06You used to tell them not
21:08to oppress the animals.
21:10You used to tell them not
21:12to imprison the birds.
21:14You used to tell them
21:16to have mercy on the animals.
21:18You used to tell them
21:20to be kind to the animals.
21:22You had a good relationship
21:24with the people.
21:26It was mentioned
21:28in the Holy Quran
21:30that you used to read
21:32the Holy Quran
21:34frequently.
21:36A true Sufi
21:38has a strong
21:40relationship
21:42with the Holy Quran.
21:44You will not find
21:46a person
21:48who does not have
21:50a strong relationship
21:52with the Holy Quran.
21:54One who has a strong
21:56relationship
21:58with the Holy Quran
22:00has a strong relationship
22:02with recitation,
22:04contemplation
22:06and thought.
22:08You used to recite
22:10and contemplate
22:12frequently.
22:14You used to read
22:16the Holy Quran
22:18to give guidance
22:20in the form of poetry.
22:23He made his poetry a means to introduce the teachings of the Holy Qur'an.
22:30Similarly, after the Holy Qur'an,
22:33he had a great love for Maulana Rumi.
22:37He loved Maulana Rumi a lot.
22:39He was one of his ideal people.
22:43He used to read Maulana Rumi extensively.
22:46This is why we can see Maulana Rumi's deep influence in your poetry.
22:53This influence made you Maulana Rumi of Sindhi.
23:00You are called Maulana Rumi of Sindhi language
23:02and you are also called Maulana Rumi of Sindh.
23:06After this, one of your ancestors, Hazrat Shah Abdul Kareem,
23:12has a collection of poetry called Bayan-ul-Arafeen.
23:15You used to read it extensively.
23:18After the Holy Qur'an, you read Maulana Rumi's poetry
23:21and then Bayan-ul-Arafeen.
23:23You used to read it extensively
23:25and we can see the influence of these three in your poetry.
23:29We can see the reflection of the light of the Holy Qur'an in your poetry.
23:34We can see the influence of Maulana Rumi in your poetry.
23:37We can also see the reflection of the Holy Qur'an
23:41in the Bayan-ul-Arafeen of Hazrat Shah Abdul Kareem.
23:45You have made your poetry a source of love, peace and harmony.
23:53You have emphasised truthfulness.
23:55You have emphasised Godliness.
23:57You have connected people to the Creator.
24:00You have prevented creation from bowing down to the Creator.
24:06You have taught creation to be one with God.
24:08You have taught creation to be one with God.
24:12This has been the main objective of Sufiy-e-Safiyah.
24:16We can also see the desire to strengthen your relationship with the Holy Prophet.
24:23Your poetry is full of guidance to strengthen your relationship with Allah and His Messenger.
24:32Similarly, Hazrat Shah Abdul Kareem
24:35has emphasised human friendship in his poetry.
24:41He has called human friendship one of the great deeds that will lead to the Creator.
24:48You have written great poems for human friendship.
24:53These poems have had a great impact.
24:57Similarly, you have emphasised purification of the Lower Self and the inner self,
25:02which is the fundamental and fundamental point.
25:05You have emphasised that as well.
25:06You have taught people to keep their Lower Self bound.
25:12You have taught people to purify their Lower Self.
25:16You have taught people to make the Lower Self a source of comfort.
25:27We can see this in your poetry as well.
25:30I will translate a couplet from your poetry.
25:32You have said,
25:34Keep the camel of the Lower Self bound so that it does not become a vagabond.
25:39To keep feeding it will only make it worse.
25:42You have likened the Lower Self to a camel.
25:45If you keep feeding and feeding a camel and do not take any action from it,
25:50nor do you keep it bound,
25:52the camel will become mischievous and it will become mischievous and it will become mischievous.
25:59You have said that the Lower Self is also like this.
26:02If you continue to act on its desires, it will become mischievous like a camel.
26:08It will also try to ruin your future.
26:13So, keep the Lower Self bound.
26:16Do not act on every thought of the Lower Self.
26:20Do not fulfil every desire of the Lower Self.
26:22Instead, purify the Lower Self.
26:26Through the remembrance of Allah and the straight path mentioned in the Holy Quran and Sunnah,
26:32you have to act on it.
26:33You have to remove yourself from the desires of the Lower Self.
26:36It is the Lower Self that commands evil.
26:39You have to convert this Lower Self into a vagabond.
26:42A vagabond means someone who is very mischievous.
26:45When a person cultivates himself,
26:48as a result of his cultivation,
26:52the Lower Self is converted into a vagabond before becoming a camel.
26:55This means that the Lower Self blames a person for his misdeeds.
26:59When a person's Lower Self blames a person for his misdeeds,
27:02it means that he has developed to such an extent that he has become a vagabond.
27:08After that, when a person abandons his misdeeds,
27:11and his thoughts are only towards goodness and goodness,
27:15and he is free from evil,
27:16and he is content with the Will of Allah,
27:18and he is always on the path of Allah,
27:20then that Lower Self is a contented Lower Self.
27:23It is a contented Lower Self
27:25that is always contented with the Will of Allah.
27:29It is always contented with the Will of Allah.
27:32This contented Lower Self has to take the Lower Self towards this.
27:36So, you have emphasized this in your speech.
27:39Similarly, you have also mentioned the perverts in your speech.
27:44Those people who defame the Sufis.
27:47Those people who only draw attention.
27:49Those people who do not follow the Shariah themselves,
27:52nor do they encourage others to follow the Shariah.
27:55You have also refuted such so-called Sufis.
28:00There is a couplet of yours,
28:02which means that those people who are crazy about food,
28:07they are not Wali, but traitors.
28:10Those who are only after food, or for their own selfish desires,
28:16they are wearing the garb of idolatry,
28:19and they always have their eyes on people's pockets,
28:23on people's vaults.
28:25So, they are not Wali, but traitors.
28:28They wear the garb of idolatry.
28:31They are not leaders.
28:32They wear the garb of idolatry, and there are hundreds of idolaters here.
28:35If you want to live, then identify yourself.
28:40So, you have removed these perverts as well.
28:43And, as it is, a Sufi is one who,
28:45instead of gathering people around himself,
28:48he connects them to the Creator.
28:49So, instead of gathering people around himself,
28:53instead of connecting them to himself,
28:55he tried to connect people to the Creator.
28:59The result of this was that Allah put His love in the hearts of people.
29:04He connected people to the Creator.
29:09So, as a reward, the Creator has put His love in the hearts of people.
29:14The Creator has connected people to Him in such a way
29:17that even after centuries,
29:20people still celebrate this day.
29:23People come to His court, to His courtyard.
29:28Allah has put His love in the hearts of people.
29:32And one of the reasons for this love is that
29:35He has connected people to the Creator, not to Himself.
29:39So, Allah has given them this reward in this world.
29:44And the reward of the hereafter,
29:46the reward of eternal life, is a different matter.
29:50You will get what you want,
29:52but Allah has kept their names alive in this world as well.
29:55In this world, Allah has put His love in the hearts of people in such a way
30:00that even after centuries, the light of His love is still shining.
30:03And by the will of Allah, it will remain so until the Day of Judgment.
30:07In the same way, in His words,
30:10He has made women brave and courageous.
30:16And He has made them aware of their responsibilities.
30:23He is called the poet of seven Surahs.
30:27He is called the poet of seven Surahs, seven princesses, seven brave women.
30:33Because the popular stories in Sindh,
30:37the seven Romani stories of love and affection,
30:40He has arranged those Romani stories in His poetry.
30:44And He has arranged them in such a way
30:46that He has nominated social evils as well.
30:50He has prevented people from social evils as well.
30:52And the benefits and the good qualities,
30:54in the form of poetry, He has placed them like pearls in those stories.
30:59Because people liked the stories,
31:03He has narrated the famous stories in their language,
31:08but He has also made it a means of preaching the religion.
31:12He has also made it a means of reaching one's goal,
31:16that is, to connect the creation of God with Allah.
31:20So, in those poems, in those stories,
31:22He has repeatedly corrected the social evils.
31:26The purification of the society, He has done that.
31:30He has filtered it in His words.
31:34So, in those words, He has made the women aware of their responsibilities.
31:38That in the society,
31:40to build a society and to progress, one has to play a positive role.
31:44But one has to do it while remaining within the sphere of Shariah.
31:47So, He told the women to understand their responsibilities.
31:51So, in His poetry, He has mentioned the women a lot.
31:56And He has encouraged the women to play a positive role.
32:02For the development of the society and for the upbringing of the family.
32:06Because a mother's lap, a mother's cradle,
32:09is the first place of upbringing for a child.
32:13If a mother is mature, if a mother's upbringing is correct,
32:18then the whole family improves.
32:22And the society is a collection of families.
