00:04Officially opening its doors on Friday August 23rd
00:07we were invited down for a first look at the racing display.
00:11The exhibition starts by going right back to the beginning of motorsport and
00:15the evolution of Formula One. Capturing some of the sport's most
00:19defining moments, four iconic race cars are also on display
00:22including the McLaren MP4-14, Williams FW07, Lotus 72
00:29and the sharknose Ferrari.
00:34Next is an insight into the inner workings of a modern F1 car.
00:39While one of Max Verstappen's winning motors takes pride and place in the next
00:43room, racing fans will be able to learn the
00:45design and precision that goes into crafting each motor
00:49through interactive displays. As well as honouring some of F1's biggest
00:54racers in a wall of busts, the exhibition also
00:57looks into the future of the sport through
00:59advancements in technology.
01:05The final room, the pit wall, is an immersive experience that celebrates the
01:0974-year story of Formula One. If that wasn't enough you'll also get
01:14the chance to have a go on an F1 simulator which certainly beats Mario
01:18Kart. Racing fans can get tickets to see the
01:22display on the F1 exhibition's website. For more
