00:00Kolkata rape case definitely someone is trying to suppress
00:03because in this story, I have got at least 7 such loopholes
00:06from which it is clear that Sanjay Roy is not the only criminal
00:10as we are being told.
00:12There are other people involved in this crime
00:14who are probably being tried to save.
00:17Some people are saying that the hospital is trying to suppress this issue
00:20because just 5 days after the case,
00:22construction has been started 20 meters away from the crime scene.
00:26The renovation work that began after the incident
00:29at an area just a few feet away from the seminar room
00:32where the doctor's body was found on Friday morning.
00:35Usually, the crime scene is completely concealed.
00:38Some people are saying that because Sanjay Roy is a member of a political party,
00:41that's why this case is being tried to suppress.
00:44That's why today I want to ask 7 questions to the Bengal government and the police there.
00:497 such questions that will clear
00:51that there has been some major tampering of evidence in this case.
00:55To understand this, we will have to understand the story from the beginning, time by time.
00:59On 9th August, a 31-year-old PG doctor was raped and murdered
01:03at the R.G.Kar Government Medical College in Kolkata
01:07in the seminar room of the hospital.
01:09The victim's condition was such that she was found bleeding
01:12from her eyes, mouth and her private parts,
01:14that too without any clothes.
01:16On the night of the incident, the doctor was on a 36-hour duty
01:19in which basically doctors had to stay in the hospital
01:22for emergency and patient care.
01:25Yes, you have to stay in the hospital completely for 36 hours.
01:29There, eating, drinking, bathing, getting fresh,
01:32everything has to be done in the hospital.
01:34Even that night, after working for 24 hours,
01:36the victim and her 4 colleagues came to the seminar hall to eat,
01:40where they were watching Neeraj Chopra's match.
01:43It was 3 o'clock in the night and after dinner,
01:45all 4 colleagues went back to their duty.
01:48But the victim doctor wanted to rest a little after the hectic duty.
01:52That's why she slept there in the seminar hall for a while.
01:55After that, according to reports,
01:57at around 4 o'clock in the morning,
01:59the accused, Sanjay Roy, entered the room,
02:01raped the doctor, physically assaulted him,
02:04and during this time, i.e. between 3 to 5 o'clock in the night,
02:07he died.
02:10Then at 7.30, the victim's body was discovered,
02:13but no news has come out about who saw the body first.
02:17Now, the victim's body was found in the seminar hall at 7.30,
02:20but when was her parents informed?
02:223 hours later, at 10.30 in the morning.
02:25And even after that, when the parents reached there,
02:27they were made to wait outside the seminar hall for 3 hours.
02:30They were not even allowed to see their daughter's body once.
02:44Her parents kept crying, kept requesting the administration
02:47to let them see their daughter once,
02:49but they were not heard at all.
03:02After 3 hours, when the parents finally went inside,
03:05their daughter was in such a state
03:07that no parent can see their child.
03:09There were no clothes on her body,
03:11the spectacles were completely broken,
03:13and there were injury marks all over her body.
03:15She was bleeding from her eyes, mouth, and her private parts.
03:19The body of the girl who had blood in her mouth,
03:23the girl had no clothes on her body,
03:26both her legs were in the right angle.
03:30The condition of the body was such
03:32that anyone can tell at a glance
03:34that this is a cold-blooded murder and rape case.
03:37But maybe the hospital couldn't see all this.
03:40The hospital wanted to call this case a suicide case
03:43and make it a big deal overnight.
03:45And that's why this is the first loophole of the story,
03:47and my first question is also that
03:49why did the hospital administration
03:51declare this clear-cut rape and murder case as suicide?
03:54Secondly, why were their parents not shown their bodies
03:57after waiting for 3 hours?
03:59Was the hospital administration saving anyone
04:01or tampering with the evidence inside?
04:03Thirdly, and the most shameful thing,
04:05the principal of that college,
04:07without any autopsy or preliminary investigation,
04:10directly passed the judgment
04:12that this doctor had a mental illness called psychosis,
04:15and he committed suicide.
04:17Why?
04:18Why did the principal have to give a verdict so soon?
04:21Were there other people from the hospital
04:23who he was trying to save?
04:25Well, at least the allegations
04:26were made by the victim's parents.
04:28Because even after all this,
04:30the hospital tried its best
04:32to silence this case somehow,
04:34to suppress it.
04:36But when this matter reached the other doctors
04:38and staff of the same hospital,
04:40they immediately protested against it.
04:42This protest spread all over India,
04:44and this issue also went viral on social media.
04:47After this, the post-mortem was bound to happen.
04:49And when the report came,
04:51this case became even more complicated.
04:53The post-mortem revealed that
04:55the doctor was sexually assaulted.
04:57She was beaten and raped brutally.
04:59Her abdomen, right hand, and lips were badly injured.
05:02Even her collarbone was crushed.
05:05So the report cleared that this is not a suicide case.
05:08And after that, when the police started the investigation,
05:10they found out from the CCTV footage
05:12that a man named Sanjay Roy
05:14had entered the seminar hall at 4 p.m.
05:16The police also found a Bluetooth earphone in the seminar hall,
05:19which when checked,
05:20connected directly to his phone.
05:22So definitely this person was the culprit.
05:24That's why the police arrested him immediately.
05:26And guess what?
05:27He also admitted his crime.
05:29Now who is this Sanjay Roy?
05:31Well, this person was not connected to the hospital in any way.
05:34Neither was he a staff member
05:36nor was he a medical personnel.
05:38Basically, since 2019, Sanjay worked with the Kolkata Police
05:41as a civic volunteer in the welfare cell.
05:43Civic volunteers are those people
05:45who basically help the police in some basic tasks
05:47like traffic management, etc.
05:49But according to the reports,
05:51Sanjay often wore a Kolkata Police t-shirt
05:54and had a plate of the Kolkata Police on his bike.
05:57So my fourth question is that in a hospital
05:59where a patient's relatives
06:01do not even get entry without visiting hours,
06:03how does this person get entry
06:06without any stop?
06:08There must be guards in any government hospital.
06:10Why didn't they stop this person?
06:12Fifthly, which is quite fishy,
06:14why isn't the CCTV footage of this whole incident being released?
06:17Next question.
06:18R.G.Kar Medical College students are posting videos on Twitter
06:21where they are showing that
06:22the renovation has been started
06:24only 20 meters away from the crime scene
06:26and the police are also sitting there.
06:28Usually, any crime scene
06:30is sealed far away.
06:32So even knowing that such a big crime has happened,
06:34who gave the permission to start the construction there?
06:37Is this being done deliberately to destroy all the evidences?
06:40At least the doctors of that hospital are claiming this.
06:52One more thing.
06:53Sanjay Roy's is not the first crime.
06:55A few weeks before this incident,
06:57a complaint has been registered against him
06:59with a female doctor for misbehaving.
07:01But what did the police do on this?
07:03No action at all.
07:04And even before this case,
07:06another woman had filed a report in Lal Bazar police station
07:09saying that Roy has been calling her for the past 3 months
07:12and harassing her.
07:15That lady's allegation was that
07:16Roy had contacted her from R.G.Kar Medical Hospital
07:19on the pretext of buying medicines from her for the first time.
07:22And then he stole her number from the prescription.
07:25After that, Roy was constantly putting pressure on her
07:27and was threatening her to meet him.
07:30Again, what action did the police take on this?
07:32After the arrest, Sanjay Roy had received pornographic content from his phone.
07:35And when he was interrogated by his neighbours,
07:37they told him that Sanjay has been married 4 times
07:40and his 3 wives had left him
07:43due to his abusive behaviour.
07:46And his 4th wife died due to cancer.
07:49Isn't this shocking?
07:50When the same man has already misbehaved with the doctor of the same hospital.
07:54On top of that, his history is also not that special.
07:57So many allegations have been filed against him by domestic violence.
08:01Still, why was no action taken against him?
08:03Was the police waiting for a big crime?
08:06This is my 7th and last question.
08:08When this man's past history clearly shows
08:11that he is a serial offender.
08:13Still, how does he become a civic volunteer?
08:15Aren't there any background checks for such government-level posts?
08:18In this whole story, I can see these 7 wires
08:21which are not connecting at all.
08:23And that's why the whole country wants to see
08:25who is being tried to save in this case.
08:28Is there any strong political or bureaucratic backing behind this?
08:31Is Sanjay being made a scapegoat,
08:33a scapegoat,
08:35handed over to the police
08:36to save the other rapists?
08:38After all, recent reports are showing
08:40that the brutality with which the doctor was killed
08:42is not a case of one person.
08:45This is a case of gang rape.
08:47So my question is, where are the other rapists?
08:49Are they still roaming freely?
08:51And finally, whenever such a crime happens,
08:54then unfortunately, some people in our society
08:56start shaming the victim.
08:58They start blaming them.
09:00It is such a shame that in the Nirbhaya case,
09:02the first response of the maximum people was
09:04that why was that girl outside till late at night?
09:07How did the girl wear clothes?
09:09How was the girl talking?
09:10It is very easy to say all this.
09:12But now my question to those people is,
09:14what about this case?
09:15In this case, that girl was only doing her job in her hospital.
09:18The real problem is not in going out late for someone,
09:20nor in wearing someone's clothes.
09:22The problem is in the people like Sanjay Roy.
09:25In their thinking, and in our thinking.
09:27Remember, whenever you accuse a girl
09:29in any incident,
09:31you are leaving such criminals of the country
09:33to commit such a heinous crime again.
09:37You give them the courage to harass a girl again,
09:40to assault her.
09:42That's why not this time.
09:44This time, we don't have to calm down just by lighting a candle.
09:47The murderers of Nirbhaya were punished after 7 years
09:49when everyone knew that they had committed the crime.
09:52This is a joke for our country.
09:54But not this time.
09:56I will upload this video on Twitter
09:58with the hashtag, JusticeForNirbhaya2.
10:00Tag as many authorities as possible
10:02so that this time at least,
10:04their family and this country
10:06can get justice soon.
10:08Jai Hind.
