00:46During his stay from August 19 until 21, Anwar will be greeted with an official welcoming
00:52before holding a bilateral meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday.
00:58The meeting will allow both leaders to review ongoing cooperation and explore new initiatives
01:04to further strengthen Malaysia-India relations, which were elevated to an enhanced strategic
01:09partnership in 2015.
01:12They will also discuss regional and international issues of mutual interest.
01:17To further advance economic cooperation between the two countries, Anwar will participate
01:21in a roundtable meeting with several Indian industry leaders.
01:25Accompanying him on the visit are Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hassan, Investment,
01:31Trade, and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul, Tengku Abdul Aziz, Tourism, Arts
01:38and Culture, Minister Datuk Seri Thiong Khing Singh, Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo,
01:44and Human Resources Minister Stephen Sim.
