James Taylor, Mickey Guyton and Jason Isbell will perform on the opening night of the Democratic National Convention. Convention officials confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that legendary singer-songwriter Taylor, country standout Guyton and folk and Americana star Isbell are confirmed to hit the stage at the United Center in Chicago to help kick off the four-day convention. THR has learned that Taylor, a long-time Democrat and activist who campaigned for Biden and former President Barack Obama, will be the night's final performer.

00:48Meanwhile, Guyton's appearance comes as she's preparing for the release of her new album, House on Fire, which comes out September 27.
01:01She has a new song out this Friday titled My Side of the Country.
01:05Monday's packed program, which will feature a keynote from President Biden, was organized under the theme For the People.
01:11Additional performers are expected to take the DNC stage throughout the week,
