00:00Hello everybody, and welcome back to another episode of GTA Online.
00:04Just a really quick episode today, just showing some funny going-ons,
00:08unusual things that happened when I've been playing GTA Online the last few weeks.
00:12Now I should point out this is done on the Game DVR on the Xbox One.
00:16Basically you can record up to 5 minutes of footage, either you can start recording
00:20and then 5 minutes it'll stop recording, or you can hit
00:24end clip and it'll record 5 minutes back. But that does end up causing some sort of weird
00:28glitches for some reason, and you have to do everything post-commentary.
00:32This is actually the first sort of funny thing.
00:36You know when you just sort of think something's not going to hit? I mean I've shot the helicopter, it's coming towards me.
00:40It's not going to hit, it's not going to hit, and then you get smacked in the face by a tail rotor.
00:44You saw one of the first glitches there.
00:48The second sort of funny clip was with one of my friends, and I don't know why
00:52this reminded me of a Call of Duty moment in first person.
00:56You know the ones I'm talking about, you're doing the turret scenes, you're driving along, you get hit by an explosion
01:00or something, and it goes to a cutscene, you fall out of the turret, it's just hanging above your head
01:04and... I don't know, that particular scene just reminded me of something
01:08out of Call of Duty. Suffice to say we died.
01:12You can see now I died quite quickly.
01:16The next sort of weird funny going on was right after this.
01:20You can see me just running up there on fast motion, thanks to the
01:24power of editing.
01:28We're at the top of the hill, and there's a couple of policemen
01:32just wandering around, nothing wrong with that.
01:36Clearing up the scene, like normal police officers do.
01:40However, due to this being GTA Online, there are limitations in the police AI
01:44and their animations. They can arrest you in single player, you'll be busted.
01:48And they do have the animations and AI for that.
01:52As you can see, he's going up to arrest them.
01:56I said sort of, they have the animations to go to arrest you, but they can't actually arrest you
02:00so they just shoot people for the most minor of things.
02:04Literally, he was just grazed by a truck, and he's just brutally murdered them on the bloody
02:08pavement, or road.
02:12You can see he's gone to arrest them, pulled them out, pointed the gun at them, and instead of arresting
02:16he's just blown their heads off. It did skip a little bit again,
02:20and it did sort of glitch out a little bit again.
02:24I'm not even sure what happened here, they just stopped. You can see the shotgun firing by the guy on the right.
02:28Well, you did, but then it sort of glitched out a little bit.
02:32I still don't know what exactly they did, all they did was pull up, stop the car
02:36and just got shot for it.
02:40Yeah, there's GTA Online police AI for you.
02:44So if you're an NPC in GTA Online, don't piss off the cops, or you will die.
02:48The amount of AI who miraculously escaped here.
02:52You can see I'm pointing the car at this guy. It's a little to the left, but it should definitely hit him
02:56or so I thought. So I bailed out.
03:00And no, he just started walking away just as I bailed out the car. Literally, inches.
03:04If I'd been there half a second earlier, he would have been flattened.
03:08But you know, he walked off and escaped.
03:12Being disappointed with this result, I decided to attack the nearby helicopter.
03:16And as he ascended, only lasts for a few seconds, starts to descend towards the ground
03:20and yep, the random ground crew person actually survived that.
03:24Just look at it in slow motion.
03:28He's actually walking towards the explosion, or where the explosion will take place.
03:32And it just, oh my god.
03:36And you can see him recoiling back from the fall, so he must have been pretty near.
03:40It must have affected him, and I think he ends up standing there for half a second
03:44and just takes in what's just happened.
03:48So there you go, the two luckiest employees in the state of Los Santos.
03:52San Andreas, or the city of Los Santos.
03:56I actually let them both live, because to survive that, it was just sheer luck.
04:00Massive amount of luck, and a really big coincidence.
04:04I should remember not to get on their bad side, because they are obviously
04:08unstoppable killing machines.
04:12And I would probably be beaten in a fight.
04:16At this point I got into a helicopter and started attacking other helicopters.
04:20Which takes a while, so I do skip forward a little bit.
04:24You probably would have seen it skip a little bit, because the DVR went a bit weird again.
04:28The best way to take out helicopters
04:32is generally come above and just try and land on them.
04:36You've got the full momentum hitting the top of their rotor blades.
04:40The rotor blades hitting the bottom of your helicopter.
04:44Theoretically their rotor blades should break, and you should only take a little bit of structural damage.
04:48You can see here we're just battling it out in the sky.
04:52We're both losing our engines at this point.
04:56But finally, over near the beach area,
05:00I finally managed to get some decent damage into him.
05:04And in a second you should see the final ramming attack.
05:08And my rotor blades fall off.
05:12Just my luck. Well, thankfully my luck turned, because I managed to stop half a meter from that ledge.
05:16Some of that luck must have rubbed off on me from the helipad area.
05:20Or the helipad employees.
05:24He didn't lose his rotor blades, but I finally broke his engine.
05:28So we both went down.
05:32I managed to take us both down at the same time.
05:36I'd anticipated so I couldn't let him just walk away.
05:40That would be a huge waste of my time, and he probably had some money I could get off of him.
05:44So I just chased him for a little bit.
05:48I only hit him with the nightstick after I shot him, so he's probably still alive.
05:52But about $17 poorer.
05:56After that I went to do one of the new game modes.
06:00Basically you've got these purple areas, you've got to distract the cops.
06:04And you get $10,000 at the end of it for 5 minutes of work.
06:08Which isn't actually that much if you use RPGs and grenade launchers.
06:12You can just see me causing a bit of havoc here.
06:16But I'm not going to show you all of it, because that would be a bit boring.
06:20But there is some weird going on after this.
06:24I don't know if I get shot down here. No, I'll just skip on to the next thing.
06:28I get shot down here, as you can see I've got virtually no health.
06:32At which point I encounter some very weird pedestrians.
06:36I don't know if there was a problem with the AI code or something.
06:40Oh, I've got them.
06:44Yeah, I don't know if it's the AI code or something, but they're just oblivious to the fact someone is shooting towards them.
06:48I mean, it's not until I actually hit them that they realise.
06:52And even then, the people with them don't realise someone's been shot.
06:56So yeah, that was weird.
07:00Again, the cop's turned up, because I'm still in the distract zone area.
07:04So I'll probably end up skipping a lot of that again.
07:08But you can see me causing a bit of havoc with hand grenades and RPGs.
07:12And once again, I manage to get shot.
07:16Cause a bit more havoc, but eventually I go down from the huge barrage of fire from the nearby helicopter.
07:24Now at this point, something weird happened.
07:28I got reinforcements.
07:30Well, in what way did you get reinforcements?
07:32Well, another friendly player turned up in a tank.
07:36I mean, literally, this was just turning out to be the weirdest thing ever.
07:40I was just being outdone by the cops everywhere.
07:42We had weird pedestrians, and then a tank just gets thrown into the mix and destroys everything.
07:48I don't know why I even bothered shooting down these helicopters. I should have saved my ammo.
07:52But it just annihilated everything in the area.
07:56It was just ridiculous.
08:00Thankfully, the next minute or so was relatively easy.
08:04Of course, I had to be careful. There were still cops that you hadn't killed.
08:08I wasn't sure what the tank was going to do. I didn't know if he was going to go after me.
08:12You know what GTA players are like.
08:16Some of them are nice, and some of them are not so nice, to put it mildly.
08:22But at this point, I was pretty much safe.
08:24The cops were being destroyed by this tank. I only had to cover one or two avenues.
08:30Quite a few still got through behind me, unfortunately.
08:32I don't know if the tank was just busy or something.
08:36But it was only one or two people I had to deal with.
08:40I have no idea who was in the tank.
08:42But thank you to the random stranger who saved me, or allowed me to complete this without dying.
08:48Unfortunately, he couldn't save me from the upcoming death.
08:52I died from half health to zero in a few seconds, which is ridiculous.
08:56Anyway, like I said, only a short video today.
08:58Oh, it's glitching again. We'll have to find a way to stop that.
