00:00I am bursting at the seams of this new season.
00:02I literally cannot wait for everybody to see it.
00:05You know, what we've created here,
00:08we have elevated the first season in a way that just,
00:11people are not even ready for it.
00:12It's gonna be so much fun.
00:13It's gonna be a real exploration
00:16and continuation of what we started in season one,
00:20but taken to a higher level.

00:29We got to see how Jax ended in season one.
00:31You know, it was a very traumatic experience that she had.
00:35You know, and so we get to see her in season two
00:37try to figure out how to navigate that.
00:39You know, what does that look like?
00:42And we get to see the effects of it on her life.
00:44You know, her marriage, her friendships, her career.
00:46I think, you know, in terms of character evolution,
00:49I think Lewis is a guy like,
00:53I think most people is doing the best that they can
00:56while they try to figure out how to pick up the pieces.
00:59And I think one of the things is also recognizing, like,
01:03picking up the pieces doesn't mean you have to arrange them
01:05back the way they were before.
01:07Mama Lou has a great arc this season.
01:09First of all, she broke through a big barrier
01:11between her daughter Jacqueline
01:15and what had happened to her that she didn't know.
01:19And then for her to have to deal with that.
01:22And then now they're in a good place
01:24and they're building a relationship
01:26that's really, really lovely.
01:28It's been such an amazing journey
01:29because what happens is, you know,
01:31I wrote the script during like peak COVID, like in 2020,
01:35and then, you know, it was kind of delays.
01:37And then finally we got to shoot the pilot
01:39and, you know, we were still wearing masks season one,
01:42you know, shooting everything.
01:43And then it aired and I got this great response
01:45and it was just so gratifying to just, you know,
01:48you put so much work into something
01:49to see people have such a positive response about it
01:52and connect with it.
01:53I know when I watch TV shows, you know, I get excited.
01:57You know, when I watch something and it's really good
01:58and you want to tell all your friends.
02:00So the fact that people were doing that about my show
02:02was really special.
