00:00There are some darwish who have really closed the doors of their desires.
00:07They say, don't open the door otherwise it won't be closed again.
00:11Remember this. There are some darwish who don't open the door of their desires.
00:19There was a king named Sultan Yahya.
00:23He was the ruler of some parts of Arabia and he was very fond of distributing people.
00:29There are some people who are fond of collecting.
00:32Some people are fond of eating food.
00:36There are some people who are fond of eating food without a guest.
00:39There are some people who are fond of eating food without a guest.
00:44Everyone has his own taste.
00:49I like the saying of Sheikh Saadi.
00:52He used to take loans and give food to the guests.
00:55One day all the guests came together and asked him to give them money.
00:58Baba ji said, they are asking for money and I am tensed.
01:01He said, they haven't eaten anything.
01:03I was worried.
01:04A child was selling something.
01:06He was not selling Kheel Murunda.
01:08He was selling it and he came.
01:10He said, do you want to take it?
01:12Baba ji said, give it to all my guests.
01:14The child was happy that he got all the guests.
01:18When he gave it all, he said, money.
01:22Sheikh Saadi said, you also sit down.
01:24All these people have come to take money.
01:26Sit with them.
01:27When they meet you also.
01:29The child cried.
01:32He said, I am an orphan.
01:34I have left four sisters.
01:36I have to take my mother's medicine also.
01:38I need money.
01:39The child cried.
01:40A disciple of Sheikh Saadi came.
01:42He looked at him.
01:44He said, Huzoor, this is Nazrana.
01:46He brought 400 Dinars.
01:48Sheikh Saadi gave it to everyone.
01:50He gave it to the child also.
01:51Everyone left.
01:52One of the people who took the loan was sensible.
01:54He came to Sheikh Saadi.
01:56He said, Baba, I didn't understand.
01:58We have been coming to take it for years.
02:00We were not getting it.
02:01We have been asking for months.
02:03We were not getting it.
02:04Today we got it quickly.
02:05Sheikh Saadi was an old man.
02:06He spoke like an old man.
02:08He said, there was no one in you who cried.
02:10If there is one person who cries in the whole gathering,
02:13then everyone's work is done.
02:15The work of a weeping lover is to weep.
02:18Without weeping, there is no acceptance.
02:20Without weeping, there is no acceptance.
02:22And without weeping, there is no acceptance.
02:24A lover always weeps.
02:26There is a weeping lover.
02:28There is a weeping lover.
02:30So everyone's work is done.
02:32So some people had an interest.
02:33The king, Sultan Jahiya,
02:35was the king of some parts of Arabia.
02:37He had a great interest in feeding people.
02:39He was very passionate.
02:41He distributed a lot.
02:42And many times,
02:43God forbid, he was proud of it.
02:45He was proud of it.
02:46He used to say with pride,
02:47Give me a lot of wealth,
02:48whoever wants to take it.
02:49He was proud of it.
02:50God forbid, he should not have done it.
02:52One day, he was standing outside the mosque,
02:54and started distributing.
02:55If a Fakir came,
02:56he gave a handful of gold coins.
02:59He gave gold to someone,
03:00he gave silver to someone.
03:01A Dervish Babaji was sitting in the corner.
03:03We don't need anything from anyone.
03:05There is no need.
03:06He was sitting in the corner.
03:08Believe me,
03:09if you move a little here,
03:11the world moves backwards.
03:13If you run backwards,
03:14it will run forward.
03:16This is the nature of the nation.
03:17If you ask about someone,
03:18he gets upset.
03:19He says, I have some work to do,
03:20that is why I am asking.
03:21And if you keep quiet,
03:23this is also a big problem.
03:25If you love,
03:26you also suffer a loss.
03:28He says,
03:29I don't know what greed is in me,
03:30what good is it,
03:31that is why I am being loved so much.
03:33He was in Babaji's corner,
03:35he didn't pay attention.
03:36When he didn't pay attention,
03:37Sultan's attention was on himself.
03:39Sultan Jahiya said,
03:40Baba is a capable,
03:42attentive man.
03:43Everyone is in line,
03:45running,
03:46the king has come.
03:47Here,
03:48if the food is served at the wedding,
03:49then you know about the rich people.
03:51What are they going to become?
03:52He says,
03:53I don't know,
03:54will there be a small tray of meat again or not?
03:56And they keep so much,
03:57that Allah knows best.
03:59The poles of the rich people open,
04:01you know how strong the rich people are.
04:03So when he said,
04:04gold, diamonds, jewels,
04:06those who were not poor,
04:07they also got in line.
04:09But those poor people,
04:10torn old clothes,
04:11we need a throne.
04:13And what did the city of Babol look like?
04:16We have our own hair.
04:18What did we look like to someone else?
04:20And Iqbal explained this.
04:22Iqbal said,
04:23even though the wind is strong,
04:25but the lamp is burning.
04:28Even though the wind is strong,
04:30the lamp does not burn in the strong wind.
04:33Even though the wind is strong,
04:35but the lamp is burning.
04:37The man of Darvesh,
04:39whom Allah has given,
04:41the style of his own departure.
04:43He says,
04:44The one whom Allah has disrespected,
04:45removed him from greed,
04:46he does not care about anyone.
04:48He burns his own lamp.
04:50Learn the way to walk on your own soil.
04:52If you walk on the sand of marble,
04:54you will slip.
04:56The king is sitting,
04:57so the king said,
04:58call him too.
04:59He called the king.
05:00He said,
05:01you don't want anything.
05:03The king said,
05:04if you want,
05:05you should give.
05:06He said,
05:07who should I give?
05:08He said,
05:09you should give to the one
05:10who does not ask for account.
05:11He gives without account.
05:12You should give to him.
05:13He said,
05:14no, the door is open,
05:15you also take.
05:16The king said,
05:17I will take,
05:18but you give.
05:19I can't give anything.
05:20The king got angry.
05:21He was arrogant.
05:22He was arrogant.
05:23He said,
05:24why can't I give?
05:25You ask.
05:26So the king
05:27took a black wooden bowl
05:28from the beggar next to him.
05:30There are beggars,
05:31who ask for a black wooden bowl.
05:33So he said,
05:34take it.
05:35Give me something.
05:36He immediately
05:37filled his fist
05:38with gold coins
05:39and put them
05:40in a wooden bowl.
05:41When he put them
05:42in the bowl,
05:43there was a clinking sound.
05:45But I don't know
05:46where all the gold coins
05:47went.
05:48When he put in
05:49the second fist,
05:50there was a clinking sound
05:51again,
05:52but no one
05:53knew where the coins
05:54went.
05:55The third,
05:56fourth,
05:57fifth,
05:58the king's bowl
05:59was empty.
06:00Twice,
06:01four times,
06:02five times.
06:03So people
06:04are very egoistic.
06:05They are not
06:06willing to accept.
06:07If someone
06:08had told them,
06:09you would have
06:10to pay for it.
06:11Yes yes,
06:12the king
06:13would pay for
06:14anything.
06:15So he said,
06:16I am egoistic too,
06:17I will fill the bowl
06:18and then leave it.
06:19He brought
06:20one bag,
06:21then another,
06:22then another.
06:23He was happy
06:24and satisfied.
06:25He said,
06:26put it in.
06:27You said,
06:28you will get it.
06:29Now he would
06:30still fill the bowl
06:31He started to faint.
06:33The minister said,
06:34King, the sacks have run out.
06:36Now we will have to buy new ones.
06:38There is nothing left.
06:39Everything is finished.
06:41What can a human being give to anyone?
06:43He said,
06:44Yes, those people are very generous,
06:46who have the treasures given by Allah.
06:48They are generous people.
06:50They are generous.
06:51He said,
06:52What can you give?
06:53King,
06:54When the king was fed up,
06:56he got off the horse.
06:58And he sat on the feet of his father and said,
07:00Baba, what kind of a bowl is this?
07:02What kind of a well is down there?
07:04A well that keeps on falling down
07:07and does not fill up.
07:09When the king's hand stopped,
07:11Baba left the bowl.
07:13It was a very precious word.
07:15Baba said,
07:16King, this is a bowl of human desires.
07:19This is a bowl of human desires.
07:23This is a bowl of greed.
07:25Can it ever fill up?
07:27A human being sometimes says,
07:29O Allah, give me your house.
07:30I will be very pleased.
07:31He gets his own.
07:33Then he says,
07:34No, it should be in the society.
07:36Then Allah gives it in the society.
07:38He says,
07:39Take five, it is small.
07:41Can it ever fill up?
07:43The Prophet said,
07:45Do not follow that desire
07:47which puts you in a new desire.
07:49He did not make any sense.
07:51The Prophet said a big thing.
07:53There is a hadith in Musnad-e-Imam Ahmad bin Nabil.
07:55He said,
07:56Do not follow that desire
07:58which puts you in a new desire.
08:00Do not follow that.
08:02He said,
08:03Do not follow that desire
08:05which puts you in a new desire.
08:08People's worries,
08:10problems,
08:11tests,
08:12greed,
08:13lust,
08:14that worry,
08:15people have taken it so far
08:17that righteousness,
08:19spirituality,
08:20worship,
08:21pain,
08:22taste,
08:23desire,
08:24the whole world is left.
08:25Only wealth is left.
08:27Everything else
08:28has been bitten by the snake of the soul.
08:30Muhaddith Ibn Jawzi Rahmatullah said,
08:32There was a rich man in my city
08:34who bought a big snake.
08:36The snake used to lay golden eggs.
08:40There was a snake.
08:43But the egg?
08:45It used to lay golden eggs.
08:48He had only one son.
08:50He had a wife.
08:51They said,
08:52Father,
08:53we have to bite it.
08:55So you take care.
08:57What did Hazrat Sultan Bahu say?
08:59Eat it.
09:00It never tastes sweet.
09:02It has a sweet taste.
09:04The son of a snake
09:06never tastes sweet.
09:07It has a sweet taste.
09:09We have to bite it.
09:11Will it bite?
09:12The matter is over.
09:13He said,
09:14No.
09:15It lays golden eggs.
09:16I have kept it at home.
09:17I had kept a goat.
09:18A pet goat.
09:19The snake bit the goat.
09:21The goat died in agony.
09:24The wife and son said,
09:25Take care.
09:27The snake bit the goat.
09:29He asked,
09:30How much did the goat cost?
09:31He said, 6 Dinars.
09:32How much did the golden egg cost?
09:33He said, 50 Dinars.
09:35So he said,
09:36Leave it.
09:37I am not getting the egg.
09:38Even though it is a snake.
09:39The egg is coming.
09:41A few days later,
09:42I had kept a horse at home.
09:43I bit the horse.
09:44The horse died in agony.
09:46The wife and son explained to him again,
09:49Stop it.
09:50It is a snake.
09:51It will bite.
09:52He said,
09:53How much did the horse cost?
09:54He said, 20 Dinars.
09:55How much did the egg cost?
09:56He said, 50 Dinars.
09:57So leave the horse.
09:58Let it die.
09:59We will bring a new one.
10:00Allahu Akbar!
10:04I had kept a servant at home
10:05to feed the animals.
10:09Suddenly,
10:10when he picked up the feed,
10:11the snake was sitting inside.
10:13It bit the hand.
10:15The poor man screamed.
10:17Screamed.
10:19The screams of the poor man
10:20could not be heard by the people.
10:22The screams of the poor man
10:23would have closed the doors.
10:26People have put black glasses on the cars
10:28so that the screams of the poor man
10:30could not be seen or heard.
10:32The snake bit him.
10:34The servant started screaming.
10:36But the blood of the poor man is also cheap.
10:39His whole body was torn by the poison.
10:42But he did not pity the owner.
10:44He said,
10:45A new servant will come.
10:46Now the wife and son
10:47sat on his feet and explained,
10:48Stop it.
10:49Leave it somewhere
10:50or kill it.
10:51It is a snake.
10:52He said,
10:53Have you gone mad?
10:54Have you ever seen a golden egg?
10:56It lays golden eggs.
10:58Time passed.
11:00A few months passed peacefully.
11:01People forgot.
11:03One morning,
11:05the sound of the mother's crying
11:07came from the room.
11:09And when the mother screamed,
11:11the husband ran.
11:13He said,
11:14Your golden eggs are saved.
11:16And look,
11:18my son has come down from the bed.
11:20Look,
11:22my only son.
11:24They were about to take my son
11:26to the doctor.
11:28He had reached the door of his house
11:30that the Lord of Israel should come first.
11:34Now when he came back,
11:36it is very difficult for a father
11:38to pick up his son's funeral.
11:40Very difficult.
11:42He started crying.
11:43He started screaming.
11:45One son.
11:47He also covered himself.
11:49He picked up the funeral.
11:51People went out to bury him.
11:53So the mother also collected all the things.
11:55The mother also.
11:57When he came back,
11:59he said,
12:01Where are you going?
12:03He said,
12:05My son died in this well.
12:07There were golden eggs left here,
12:09but my son did not survive.
12:11What do I have to do with that courtyard
12:13There is no one to call me mother.
12:15All my desires have been destroyed.
12:17Your greed has destroyed everything.
12:19He said,
12:21I will kill him.
12:23What is the use now?
12:25So the matter was over.
12:27I did not value anything.
12:29I am satisfied.
12:31I am satisfied with the
12:33dogs of the worldly priests.
12:35What is the use now?
12:37When the wife left,
12:39the man came to the square,
12:41and killed the snake.
12:43And Ibn Jawzi says,
12:45He lived the life of a madman.
12:47He had a pile of golden eggs on his left and right.
12:49He used to tell people,
12:51Don't be greedy like me.
12:53I have no wife left,
12:55no children left, no home left,
12:57no loyal person left.
12:59Yes, I have wealth left.
