00:00:00Okay, the Renaissance was a time of rebirth and rediscovery, a time when artists took
00:00:10a fresh look at the world in which they lived.
00:00:12Now these artists helped to rekindle a sense of adventure and romance as they struck out
00:00:17to discover things about themselves and the world that they had never taken a close look
00:00:21at before.
00:00:27Now during this period, each city had a school of art with its own style and approach, but
00:00:34all were dedicated to a feeling for the individual, the personal emotions, and beauty.
00:00:41Now this can best be seen in the work of Tizianello, a contemporary of Veronese and Tintoretto.
00:00:48All of these painters explored light and dark with their use of color and composition.
00:01:17They were trying to illustrate the diversity of human nature and human individuality,
00:01:22the way in which all of us have a light side and a dark side to our nature.
00:01:25Oh, that sounds a little pretentious, okay, it's the right idea, just try and not be so
00:01:31serious about it.
00:01:33Okay, Lady in Reflection illustrates that essential quality.
00:01:40It also reminds us that the face we show the world is often different from our true
00:01:44self.
00:01:47Now despite the impression of vanity, Tizianello's interest was in showing that true beauty comes
00:01:53from within.
00:01:54Miss Jamieson, the rest of the campus is under the impression it's summer break.
00:01:59The rest of the campus don't have a doctoral thesis to deliver this fall, and besides my
00:02:03lectures I have about three dozen research papers to read, not to mention your text.
00:02:07What kind of a summer is that?
00:02:10My dear, you are without a doubt our brightest graduate student.
00:02:15Your scholarly instincts are remarkable, but a work of art depends as much on what we bring
00:02:22to it as what the artist gives us to look at.
00:02:26Art is only a reflection of life, Miss Jamieson.
00:02:30It is necessary for us to have a life before we can truly appreciate it.
00:02:36You need to show your true face to the world.
00:02:41Maybe after I have my Ph.D.
00:02:44Well, right now I need you to join the class outside.
00:02:49Oh, not another group picture.

00:05:09Well, so we should celebrate put on your party dress because I am taking you dancing

00:24:06Without letting anyone here know where you were going
00:24:09Won't happen again
00:24:11You may still think you're a star but some of us are having our doubts. I
00:24:16Didn't realize that visiting my sister was any of your business
00:24:20Anything that takes you out of Paris is my business
00:24:23Including my private affairs when you go out of town to open a new club for I know I can't help thinking you have
00:24:28Something to hide and I can't help thinking that you're a mini
00:24:32This can't be you
00:24:34Look at her Philip. She has put on at least five pounds. I
00:24:38Think she looks almost normal. My customers don't like normal women. We will have to give the finale to Jacqueline
00:24:44She will never get into the gown. She may have had too much home cooking, but she is not deaf
00:24:49You can talk to me
00:24:51And the gown will look better with more of me in it
00:25:00What do you think
00:25:04I
00:25:05Think if the gown fits we should let her wear
00:25:09Well, thank you if you'll excuse me Marie's waiting
00:25:24You are in the solids
00:25:26Jacqueline you are in the polka dots
00:25:30Polka dots make me look like a child
00:25:32You want me to tell only you think his collection is child
00:25:39Your rail is there Dominique
00:25:43Sorry, I'm late
00:25:47How was your mysterious weekend
00:25:51Uneventful
00:25:53Jacqueline was hoping you'd fall in love and never come back. Oh
00:25:57I'm sure Dominique would never let her heart interfere with her career. In fact, I heard she had it removed so it couldn't
00:26:10Your sister must be an excellent cook my sister when you went to be see
00:26:17Why don't you put this on it's wider in the hips
00:26:22All right, everybody
00:26:25Everybody else is free to leave
00:26:43Who are you I know Dominique's body and this is not it
00:26:51Are you a twin
00:26:53Yes, where the hell did she send you where is she
00:27:02She's in a rehab center. Oh
00:27:05Wait, she finally admitted she has a problem
00:27:11You are a model
00:27:13I'm an art history student
00:27:16You are as crazy as she is, you know, you'll never get away with this. She needs to get well
00:27:21I'm only going to cover for her for a month a month. Oh
00:27:25No, the new line debuts next Saturday Saturday. Yes. She told me that it doesn't know
00:27:32I don't know if he brought the date forward to break the competition. This is our most important runway show in years
00:27:38I can't fake a big fashion show. No, of course you come
00:27:41We just gonna have to go to Philly and tell him the truth. No, no, no
00:27:45No, Saturday is almost a week away. We could I could take lessons. You could teach me
00:27:49No, I couldn't Philip would find out immediately and if you were found out on the runway we'd all be finished
00:27:56This is insane
00:27:59Dominique told me that she helped you have trouble once so so maybe it's your turn to help her out. Yeah
00:28:08Please Marie, she loses her career. She'll never get sober
00:28:15That's true
00:28:20All right, all right, I guess I owe her that much
00:28:24Thank you. You just save your thanks until we know that this works
00:28:49I
00:29:19I
00:29:41Trust you know where these go
00:29:49I
00:30:19Trust you know where these go
00:30:49You
00:30:59Know you and your sister have more in common than you think. Yeah. Mm-hmm
00:31:05Let me sit down for a while. No, I've got to go for a run
00:31:09There's no need to push yourself so hard besides Philip said he likes you with your new curves. I
00:31:16Don't know how Kate does this who's Kate? Oh, that's my sister's real name
00:31:20Yeah, I was thought that she lived this soft life a lot of parties a lot of boyfriends
00:31:26Jacques Arnaud never struck me as her type. Well, she came home to do him a favor. He seems to expect something more
00:31:34Will you be careful?
00:31:35You may be a charmer
00:31:37There's all the charm of a cobra
00:31:45I can't thank you enough for all you've done for us. Oh
00:31:51Your sister has a lot of thoughts
00:31:53But she helped me when I desperately needed money. It was very selfless of her
00:31:59That seems to run in your family
00:32:02Yeah, Kate sure can mess things up but she has spirit
00:32:07Now that is the attitude you need for the runway that spirit a body is just a body the very best
00:32:14models
00:32:15They do it all up here
00:32:18Up here
00:32:21It's the ultimate stretch your stuff. Yes
00:32:24Yes, you have to believe that you are the most beautiful woman in the world
00:32:30If you believe it
00:32:32they will
00:32:34You
00:33:05I
00:33:22Thank you
00:33:34I
00:34:04Don't stumble tonight
00:34:34I
00:35:04I
00:35:34I
00:35:53You set up the line
00:36:04I
00:36:34I
00:37:04I
00:37:34I
00:38:04I
00:38:34I
00:38:36I
00:39:03You were inspired
00:39:07Actually, I was scared
00:39:12Exhausted
00:39:15You were superb
00:39:18Everybody wants to meet you
00:39:21everybody
00:39:36You
00:39:39I
00:40:01Let me take you home I know I'm really I don't care what I know you said I'm taking you home before you fall
00:40:06Okay
00:40:18You don't know
00:40:30Okay
00:40:33Are you capable of undressing on your own? Yes. I'm quite capable of undressing on my own
00:40:40You're wearing on these merchandise, oh
00:40:44Sorry, I should draw me back
00:40:48Thank you for getting me out of there because I
00:40:52Fading fast
00:41:02I
00:41:16Thought the show went quite well I was concerned what effect a drunken model would make on the customers
00:41:24Hey
00:41:26I am NOT drunk. I'm exhausted. I work my behind out for this show then get some sleep have a photo shoot first thing tomorrow
00:41:55Yes
00:41:59Perfection
00:42:03Enough
00:42:07That's all for today Dominique we do the covers now, but first we change the lighting so take a break
00:42:24You
00:42:40Do you like it
00:42:43Yeah, it shows less linear emphasis on his early work and his use of light and color is much more confident
00:42:52You certainly know what you're talking about
00:42:54um
00:42:56Forgive me for assuming you'd had too much to drink last night
00:43:01It's not like I haven't given people that impression
00:43:06Would you like this collection yes, I'm right I'm reading a book on it
00:43:11I get my thoughts down and I compare them with the books at home
00:43:16This is Venetian Renaissance art your specialty or do you have broader tastes such as
00:43:23Favorite work
00:43:25Actually, it's something that I've never seen
00:43:28What is it? It's a bronze in the private collection of the Marquis de Bellevaux really
00:43:38Nice to see you Jacques
00:43:42Congratulations on last evening your string of triumphs continues. Thank you
00:43:49Monsieur Clermont
00:43:51Seems our friend has assured that Chambertin will survive one more season
00:43:56House of Chambertin is as solid as ever
00:43:59Monsieur, I know
00:44:01Taste is a fickle commodity. No one knows that better than I
00:44:09Or I
00:44:12I believe the
00:44:15Museum is closed to the public for the day. Yes, so I understand. I however came to see Dominique
00:44:21I
00:44:37Made a reservation for this evening eight o'clock. All right
00:44:42Dominique eight. Sure. Um, if you'll excuse me Jacques, I have to get back to work
00:44:49Don't be late your career may depend on it
00:45:07Has she changed
00:45:09Since she came back or is it just me?
00:45:13No, she's not the same woman
00:45:16Not at all
00:45:46I
00:45:56In the 16th century the Marquis de Bellevaux came to my family to borrow money to buy works of art came to your family
00:46:02I thought that you were American. Well, yeah, I mean for the last couple of hundred years sure
00:46:08Before the Revolution we Clermont's counts Dukes, whatever you want. I had no idea that I was talking to royalty
00:46:14Okay, well hardly but you did say they had a sculpture you wanted to see
00:46:24I've never seen so many beautiful sculptures
00:46:32Look at this place
00:46:34And no one here to enjoy it
00:46:36Makes it a privilege to show it to somebody who will thank you. I come here a lot by myself
00:46:42Yeah, right
00:46:45It's true I do
00:46:48For a thousand years before the Revolution we Clermont's were patrons of the yards
00:46:53Something I'd always wanted to get back to you. Oh, is that why you invested in the fashion business?
00:46:57Well, yeah, I'd always wanted to return to Paris and fashion in its way as an art form
00:47:03So I'd been led to believe the house of Chambert and could be profitable
00:47:06Why it's not well Henri is a great artist but his business sense is non-existent
00:47:14We needed a very good season
00:47:16needed
00:47:19We're about to launch the new season now
00:47:23This morning somebody broke in Henri's office while we're doing your cover shots
00:47:29Some sketches in the Muslim patterns were stolen
00:47:33Why would anyone steal his work
00:47:36What happens from time to time in this business mass market is in the Far East using his patterns
00:47:41Before we can even break this line Henri's creations could be in hundreds of stores
00:47:46Did you call the police
00:47:50Publicity like this could ruin us. Do you have any suspects?
00:47:55Has to be somebody inside the firm
00:47:58So I think they're working for Jacques Arnault Arnault
00:48:02Because of his clubs his access to all the right people and all the wrong ones
00:48:07You don't think that I had anything to do with it not unless you can be in two places at once no, oh
00:48:19That is more beautiful than I expected
00:48:25You know, I feel like I'm just getting to know who you are
00:48:29Yeah, not you me
00:48:32I
00:48:35Go out for dinner I
00:48:38Can't I already have plans can't cancel. No, I want to
00:48:46Maybe I can persuade you. Um
00:48:51Could you take me home why
00:48:56There's someone I have to see
00:49:01You
00:49:31Oh
00:49:45No, I'm in or water
00:49:49Watching my weight you look enchanting already in no life is worth living
00:49:55I
00:50:00Should have known the paparazzi would be here Dominique is on top once again
00:50:10It would be a shame if this fame were fleeting
00:50:13I
00:50:19Did you get the sketches the sketches
00:50:23I'm disappointed. I heard there was a problem at chamber 10 today. I was hoping that you'd finally come through for me
00:50:30This is what you wanted to discuss
00:50:32don't play innocent you weren't that drunk when I first told you about this and
00:50:37We both agreed that friends should do each other favors, didn't we?
00:50:43I
00:50:44Yeah, but it's too risky
00:50:47Philip already suspects me because of our friendship. He does does he maybe we should tell him the whole story
00:50:54My dearest Dominique
00:50:56What would he think if he knew that your wild evenings at my club?
00:51:02Could destroy the reputation of the house of champagne all by themselves. I
00:51:07I
00:51:09Doubt that he would listen to what you have to say true, but he will believe his own eyes
00:51:24Some may call that pornography I prefer to think of it as art
00:51:29Quite a night wasn't it?
00:51:32Imagine how these would look in one of those magazines or on Philip's desk
00:51:41Their fangs
00:51:42My dear, we both know that you've lost entire days to the bottle and I was always there a sweetheart
00:51:50Scraping you up off the floor when you couldn't move
00:51:55I don't remember
00:51:58Perhaps you were too drunk to remember what you were doing perhaps not
00:52:03Get me the sketches and muslin sherry when I get them
00:52:10You get these
00:52:12And I am prepared to bring you down along with the house of champagne
00:52:28You
00:52:37They're oaks clinic, yes Kate Jameson, please. It's an emergency. I'm sorry
00:52:42There's no contact allowed for the first three weeks, but if you'd like to leave a message, no, no, no
00:52:47That's too complicated. Please just get her to call her sister as soon as she can
00:52:54Thank you
00:52:57Where's Marie being questioned by hurry his designs have been stolen
00:53:03Speaking of which have you seen shock or no? Maybe don't bathe me Jack when I'm not in the
00:53:08From the screaming. It sounds like Mary's about to confess whether she did it or not
00:53:14Good, maybe we'll get a cheap fitter. We won't put me in
00:53:21How can you treat her like this
00:53:24How can you treat her like this, all right, Marie we'll speak to you later
00:53:34That woman has given her life to the house of champagne
00:53:37Yeah, she also just bought herself a new apartment. So her husband died a year ago
00:53:42He was a civil servant who never made enough money in his lifetime to buy a car
00:53:47Let alone an apartment and that's enough to assume she destroyed the only company she's ever worked for
00:53:52But she just found an apartment and somebody else paid for it. I paid for it
00:54:02Yes, but what didn't she say why should she why should I
00:54:11How is your dinner I heard you and I know we're together all night I
00:54:17I have done nothing to hurt the house of champagne
00:54:29That woman one day you want to fire her the next she's every passion you want to associate with your design
00:54:39All right, I think we should risk the publicity and go to the police
00:54:43We'll explain these become the patterns to your creations kind of a blueprint
00:54:50This is a vision a one-of-a-kind stroke of genius irreplaceable we have to replace them we have no choice
00:54:58We can't stay in business unless we market a full line of designs this season. Oh, yes have another vision
00:55:05It's easy for you to say
00:55:07No, no, no, no
00:55:09No, it's the fate of the artist. I will go seek my muse. You just pray that I find her
00:55:24Marie
00:55:26Why didn't you tell them that Dominique gave you the money? I thought it would make them suspect her
00:55:31Probably would have been right
00:55:33They know that I didn't steal the designs
00:55:36But I don't know how deeply Dominique was involved
00:55:39meaning
00:55:41Arno has photos of her
00:55:43The kind of photos that make you a little more than notorious
00:55:46No, she would have agreed to do anything to keep them from being seen and the way he saw it
00:55:51It was obvious. He thought she'd done it for I've always thought that man was dangerous
00:55:55He's a street thug with money. You know, there's a rumor there is bad blood between him and Philippe
00:56:02Well, whatever's going on I just lied to Philip to cover for Kate
00:56:09You're very attracted to him aren't you me?
00:56:13No, of course not. Oh good. That's one less thing to worry about
00:56:19Okay, there is a little attraction it's not me that he sees it's it's Dominique I
00:56:28Knew we shouldn't have played that game again game
00:56:33When I was 17, I met this boy Peter Robinson, he was the first boy I ever had a crush on
00:56:40He asked me out, but I had a term paper to deliver. So Kate took my place
00:56:45And what happened?
00:56:47She was her usual boisterous self and he fell in love with her. Oh
00:56:52That's good after that. We never played the game again. I this is an exclusive
00:56:58Original I can't go on a catwalk like this. There is no catwalk. You walk among the guests Oh
00:57:10Jacqueline one where this trying to impress Philip with your restraint
00:57:28Oh
00:57:33Look Philip brought a lady with him
00:57:40Lovely isn't she?
00:57:48Turn around, please
00:57:51I
00:57:54What do you think Mimi
00:57:59Thank You Dominique
00:58:05Dominique I want you to meet Mimi. Um, actually I'm on my way out. I'm pleased to meet Dominique. I
00:58:14Can never wear clothes the way you do
00:58:17Not even when it's just one of me
00:58:20Dominique my sister Mimi Dupre your sister
00:58:25Hi there. It's nice to meet you. You look like a Rafael Madonna. How do you do?
00:58:31Oh two weeks, but might just as well be two months
00:58:35Philip tells me you're quite the art expert Oh
00:58:38Hardly, well, I'm sure he's also told you that a family's had a long relationship with the arts. Yes
00:58:44Mimi spends much of her time raising money to restore damaged paintings
00:58:49I thought if I could get you to host one of our fundraisers it might draw some attention. Oh
00:58:58Well, you know where Dominique goes the press follows it really would help
00:59:03Join us for dinner tomorrow night
00:59:05My husband Stefan now you're staying with Philip in the city until the baby's born
00:59:09Please say yes
00:59:12Yes, yes, okay, I would be glad to help
00:59:15Tomorrow evening
00:59:45You
01:00:04What do you want now Jacques
01:00:06But I've always wanted Chevy. I have customers who are getting anxious now. Where are the sketches? I told you I don't have
01:00:16I
01:00:26Will give you one more day your career might not be the only thing I bring to an end
01:00:45Oh
01:01:05Wow stunning building
01:01:09It's one of the last private houses in Paris. So how long have you lived here?
01:01:13Well, I lived here as a child, but my father I
01:01:17Was unhappy here. So we had to leave
01:01:20It's hard to imagine that being happy here
01:01:43Hi
01:01:48Thank you for coming I hope you feel at home. Thank you for having me. Of course. She'll be dazzled by the meal
01:01:53I prepared this is my husband Stefan. He likes to help in the kitchen. I had to pay my cook extra for the prevalence
01:02:00It's a pleasure to meet you
01:02:02Nice to meet you. Your home is magnificent
01:02:06The last count to Clermont had it built in 1770 our father bought it and had it restored
01:02:11Philip told me that it was only a drafty old house
01:02:15in France
01:02:16Understatement is everything
01:02:19Come on, let me show you around
01:02:21I
01:02:30Said come to our home with everything our terribly important family has ever bought you kept her me down for sure
01:02:36Mimi your humility is showing it comes from inbreeding and living too far from Versailles
01:02:43Who is she?
01:02:45Our grandmother I can see the resemblance
01:02:48Do you have a painting of your mother?
01:02:52I
01:02:53Do in my home, but Stefan say we go get a nice bottle of wine, huh?
01:02:58I lost the butler to I'd rather do it myself
01:03:00Oh
01:03:19Sorry, the baby's just restless. Mm-hmm
01:03:25Don't let Stefan know he fuzzes. Okay, and Philip is even worse
01:03:30Hey, you two seem to be very close
01:03:33Yeah
01:03:35We had to learn to stick together
01:03:40Our father brought the family to France when we were kids he wanted to move back permanently
01:03:49Then mother left him for another man
01:03:55Dad immediately took us back to the States
01:03:58It was an awful time
01:04:04Philip has never really trusted a woman since
01:04:08Surely there must have been someone
01:04:11Yeah, he's had girlfriends
01:04:15But no one he's ever given his heart to
01:04:18All
01:04:24Right you two the cook says my first course is ready to serve wait now we use the pregnant ladies a guinea pig
01:04:32Mm-hmm
01:04:42Clement used to be a one of the most famous and respected titles in all of France
01:04:47We still didn't keep our ancestors from losing their heads during the revolution
01:04:51When Mimi wanted to marry me her family was astounded. I'm just a mutt
01:04:55Let it be a rich one, would you like some more coffee Dominique? Oh, no. Thank you. Everything was delicious. I
01:05:03compliment the chef
01:05:13I guess what I'm asking you to do is show me my own etchings
01:05:16Well, I doubt that I can teach you anything about your own art
01:05:21Well, you might be surprised
01:05:26Ah
01:05:28These brushstrokes evolved into a figure
01:05:33So you're saying the artist was just feeling the composition as he went along
01:05:37Yes, the best don't really paint a picture. They make you feel it when you sense that rush of emotion
01:05:44You know that you're in the presence of great art
01:05:46Yes, you do
01:05:50What a great place to grow up in oh
01:05:53I think the beauty was lost on me then my childhood is not something I remember fondly
01:06:02Mostly I remember being alone
01:06:23I used to find says it's time to put the pregnant lady to bed. Thank you so much for oh
01:06:40I'll get the car. No
01:06:53Oh
01:07:11They are both going to be okay
01:07:14Can we see you
01:07:16We three are all going to the hospital for the night. We'll be here if you need anything
01:07:20The baby would never have made it without you. Thank you. Thank you
01:07:32It was quite the night you were amazing I've never met anybody quite like you
01:07:50Oh
01:08:20You
01:08:42Fresh croissants from the local bakery
01:08:50Oh
01:08:53You smell like heaven
01:08:57Have you always been this beautiful
01:09:01Philip I
01:09:02Want you to care about me for who I am I want that too. I want to know all about you
01:09:08I know all about your life phone all about your family
01:09:11What you chose modeling when artists obviously the thing closest to you are
01:09:16Why did it take me so long to find out how incredible
01:09:21I know why
01:09:27Mimi
01:09:29She told you about her a mother
01:09:35She was she was very beautiful
01:09:39But it was her sole reason for me
01:09:43The day she left she put her arms around me and said I
01:09:47I love you more than anything and then she walked out and never came back
01:10:07You're the first person I've ever told that
01:10:12There's something I have to tell
01:10:15I
01:10:24Okay, give up easy sure
01:10:45I
01:10:55Miss you are no ask me to get this to you right away
01:11:05What is it give it to me
01:11:07Mm-hmm
01:11:13She can open it
01:11:16No
01:11:20What is it let's just go upstairs, okay
01:11:25There's something I shouldn't see
01:11:37Phyllis
01:12:07I
01:12:16Appear shall you
01:12:18Can I get you a drink or are you still dieting?
01:12:21What did you hope to accomplish by sending me those photos?
01:12:25Just a reminder. I gave you fair warning
01:12:28The next one will go to the press
01:12:31Well, your little reminder was almost seen by Philip
01:12:37I would have given anything to have seen that little aristocrats face if that had happened. Why is that I hate all his kind
01:12:44Making people fawn over them and do their bidding just because they have money. Well, I hope that there's more to this than that
01:12:53My family worked their fingers to the bone for the clamp and they tore us apart and I
01:13:01Don't need you to believe anything. I'll give you until tomorrow night to deliver those sketches after that
01:13:06I can't be held responsible for the consequences
01:13:17Your time has run out my sweet
01:13:19Well, you can do whatever you want with the photographs because I'm going to the police
01:13:23Don't forget to tell them you took the sketches and I have a witness
01:13:28If you want to tell them about her what a witness
01:13:32The newspapers will have a field day those lurid photographs top model brought down by
01:13:39her biggest rival
01:13:43Jacqueline this will give her everything. She's always wanted your trap
01:13:54It's the flip side of the party Dominique
01:13:59Now go and get me what I asked
01:14:02Oh
01:14:12If what you say is true
01:14:15This is the end of the house of Shambaton
01:14:18It's unbelievable all this history ruined by some sordid little story
01:14:23Could Jacqueline have stolen it for?
01:14:26No, she's a hungry one
01:14:28I've never seen anyone want a magazine cover like she does but no one would stoop that low
01:14:35Was she friend of our nose? No, no, she never goes to the clubs. Her career is everything
01:14:41So what's going on with her and Dominique?
01:14:44You would have to ask your sister. I
01:14:47Can't the clinic called she checked herself out and they don't know where she went
01:14:52that girl
01:14:55Well, maybe she didn't know that these things were going to happen
01:14:59And maybe I don't know my sister at all
01:15:02And maybe you should go back to your own life. These are not your problems. I can't I
01:15:09Mean finding out the truth is the only thing that's going to save her from our know
01:15:14and maybe
01:15:15save you and
01:15:18There's not much chance of that
01:15:25What are you thinking the new collection no, no, I mean, are you going somewhere why the drawings out?
01:15:30Well, because I've been working on the new collection. They are beautiful. Yes
01:15:35They are. I just hope we're the ones who get to sell them. You know, you're practically inviting someone to come in and steal these
01:15:43A true artist cannot function in an atmosphere of paranoia
01:15:48Besides I'm in a rush
01:15:50I have tickets for the opera and you know, I hate to miss the overture. So I go
01:15:59I'm ready
01:16:01I
01:16:32I
01:16:41Hello there, I'm looking for Jacqueline Leclerc
01:16:53What are you doing here we need to talk wait for me in the front room
01:17:02Mommy needs to talk to this lady
01:17:08Come on let's go to your room, okay
01:17:23Your son's a beautiful little boy
01:17:26What do you want?
01:17:28You have something which belongs to Henry
01:17:31What makes you think that Jacques told me?
01:17:35Why would you do something like this?
01:17:37Don't pretend you don't know. I don't know
01:17:41You had told him about my past. He's blackmailed me ever since I never told him anything
01:17:54Does he have something like that on you
01:18:01I
01:18:08He's playing us out of each other
01:18:10Yes, he finds her weakness and exploits it with you. It was your drinking with me. It was what I became to care for my son
01:18:18There were so many men offering money and my son needed food. I
01:18:23Was all alone
01:18:32I
01:18:33was desperate I
01:18:35Thought if I took the drawings and told Jacques you had them they would finish my career. I
01:18:41Thought maybe that would be the end of it
01:18:44He'd have beaten Philip. That's what he really wants. Why?
01:18:47his parents worked for the Claremont's until
01:18:50Philip's mother ran off with Jacques father
01:18:53Without his father Jacques family sank into poverty. He's always blamed the Claremont's for what happened
01:19:00You have to return these I can't it was hard enough getting them out. No, it's impossible
01:19:05Yes, you can you just walk in there you put them back and you walk back out again. I can't fight him
01:19:17Wait, this won't stop him
01:19:30I
01:19:40Just looking up this time I forgot my ear
01:19:59I
01:20:21Am returning the sketches
01:20:24Having taken the opportunity to copy them. No doubt
01:20:27No
01:20:28I'm returning the sketches for someone who took them and regretted taking them afterward
01:20:36Who I
01:20:40Can't say
01:20:42No, of course
01:20:44Tell me how much is your friend Jacques paying you to do this Philip? I didn't steal them. Stop lying to me
01:20:51I'm not lying to you
01:20:53When you decide to use me in your little game was a while. We're waiting to see if Mimi and the baby would live
01:20:58I didn't mean to hurt you
01:21:28This
01:21:35Cafe has inspired artists for centuries all the greats it's fitting. You should choose it for my latest trial
01:21:41I've never really thought of you as an artist shock
01:21:44You are the clay in my hands Dominique
01:21:47Where are those designs show me my talents have not been wasted
01:21:51Blackmail isn't an art. It's a crime
01:21:54Such ugly words from such a beautiful woman
01:21:58You disappoint me why because I'm not afraid of your photographs or your threats
01:22:04Because I'm not afraid of a low-life pimp
01:22:09Don't tempt me Dominique
01:22:11Give me those sketches or I will ruin your career
01:22:15You see, I don't think it's as sketches that you really want. That's not interesting enough for you
01:22:22shut
01:22:25You want to use me at least give me the satisfaction of knowing why I
01:22:34Want to see Phillips face when all he has left are his title and his arrogance I
01:22:39Want to see him drowning and you're betrayed
01:22:44Thank you and give me those sketches my buyer is waiting
01:22:49my photographs
01:22:51Jacqueline's photographs with negatives. No, I asked myself
01:22:55Why would you help her? She hates everything about you. Well, that's the deal. You don't have them
01:23:07It's not very nice being threatened is it you want to get Philip then you play by my rules
01:23:21I
01:23:30Stay out of my life
01:23:51Don't
01:23:56Tempt me Dominique, give me those sketches or I will ruin your career
01:24:04Dominique come in
01:24:06Jacqueline has just told me everything I couldn't let you take the blame
01:24:12Thanks, you were both of you very foolish not to tell me what was going on
01:24:17I always look after my girls and if I know had made any trouble
01:24:22Well, I think my contacts with the press are more powerful than his I am owed a great number of favors
01:24:30Well, I think that this will help
01:24:34Jacques admitted everything
01:24:36Dominique, where are you going?
01:24:39You have to give Philippe the news. I
01:24:42Think he'd rather hear that from you
01:24:47I
01:25:06Looking good
01:25:07It suits you. What are you doing here? And why did you leave the clinic?
01:25:11I read about the new line the paper and I didn't want you to deal with our no
01:25:15So I came back to take over
01:25:17Well, it's too late. He was here all along
01:25:22It's okay, we'll talk about it later. How are you doing with the program?
01:25:28Let's just say that I had some time to look at who I'd become
01:25:36I'm sorry
01:25:39Promise me you'll continue treatment. I've already looked into a clinic here and I start next week
01:25:46I
01:25:48Anyone find us out only Marie, but she covered for us
