00:00The Department of Agriculture will start mass testing of pigs in Batangas tomorrow
00:06under the Controlled Vaccination Program of the Agency Against African Swine Fever.
00:1310,000 doses of vaccine were administered in the province,
00:17but the ASF needs to be sure that the pigs are negative before they can be vaccinated.
00:25The agency is also holding a voluntary vaccination,
00:29but only now, many hog producers have announced that they want to vaccinate their pig farmers.
00:39The DA assured that the ASF strain that mutated from Vietnam has not yet entered the Philippines.
00:48He did not import pigs from the Philippines to the country.
00:52The Genome Sequencing Test is ready,
00:55and the possible trial of other vaccines from other countries is also being prepared for pigs.
01:04Once we inoculate and vaccinate,
01:07we will monitor it and we will do all the testing that is needed, including genome testing.
01:12We have a chance to contain it,
01:20to eradicate is something else that needs to be thought about.
01:25But at least we have a chance to fight.
01:28What we are doing now is we are accepting for trials soon
01:33the other vaccines like MSD, Hanbet,
