00:00Computer Science videos here today to show you guys in this tutorial how to
00:05format a cell within Microsoft Excel or Mac Office using a Mac computer. Without
00:10further ado, let us start the video. So in this tutorial you need to have access to
00:15a Mac computer, the application Microsoft Excel for Mac Office. We can now go
00:20all the way around to the dock. Now go to Launchpad, go to Mac Office, open up
00:24Microsoft Excel, wait for that to load, click on blank workbook. Let's now
00:30increase the size of the application window itself, increase the cell size. So
00:39let's move to a column, type date, move to the next cell, today's date, 3rd of March
00:542022, enter and now to have the next date and the day after in line, what we
01:04need to do is just go to the bottom right corner of the cell, click on that
01:11and then drag all the way to the next cell and there we have the dates all
01:18auto-filled. So let's now format this cell, click on the top, right-click, format
01:25cell and now let's change the date with a number. We can choose to have this in
01:34a different format such as the year, the month and the date. Click on OK and there
01:44we go, we have formatted the whole column with different cells. So command
01:52S to save, quit Excel and so that's all for this video. I'll see you guys in my
02:01next tutorial. Thanks for now. Thank you for making it towards the end of the
02:06video. Be sure to subscribe to my channel Computer Science Videos. Be sure to check
