00:00Ali Balimeng Kepung, Lim Lip M, praised the government for the increase in wages between 7% and 15% for public officials by stating that it is a wise strategy combination to stimulate the economy and boost the spirit of the government as a whole.

00:18In other words, the new public service requirements system introduced by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim yesterday is not only an appreciation of the government, but it is also a wise step that will give a positive boost to the economy.

00:33Lim said that happier public officials will provide faster, smoother and better basic services, all of which are important to maintain stability and progress.

00:45He said that the increase in wages that will take effect in December is a major step towards reducing income gaps and strengthening the middle class, which is important for a balanced economy.

00:58On Friday, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim also announced a salary cut of 15% to public officials and 7% to public officials.
