Kyle Sieg goes up and over to bring out caution on final lap
Kyle Sieg goes for a wild ride on the final lap of the Xfinity Series race, going up and over. Sieg exited the vehicle under his own power.

00:00Let's take another look at why this caution came out.
00:03Three wide down the back straightaway.
00:05That's why I got in the right rear of Guadalupe.
00:10I just piled everybody up upside down into the wall.
00:15Wow, what a long slide all the way down to the grass and then flip back over.
00:23Fortunately ends up on its wheels.
00:25I couldn't tell what started it.
00:27Some back and forth.
00:29But the result, the 28 upside down, NASCAR making the absolute correct decision, instantly
00:35putting the yellow out.
00:36Such a severe accident.
00:37You got to get safety workers out right away to these drivers.
00:42I think if the cars kind of would have stayed going, we could have seen that race back to
00:46the line, Rick.
00:47But as soon as any sort of impact, I think the 88 impact to the outside wall was really
00:51enough to throw the yellow.
00:52But either way, that was it.

00:57So it seems like it's hard to tell, but 45 gets into the right rear of the 88, gets the
01:03car spinning.
01:04That's a scary wreck.
01:05We'll see.
01:06Over 3,000 pound cars flying through the air is never a good sight.

01:36And then just the speed that Kyle was running when he turned around and the 81 of Chandler
01:42Smith kind of pushing him at the same time.
01:45Gets the car launched.
01:47That's kind of what happens.
01:48These cars are designed with the roof flaps to keep them on the ground.
01:50But you see, there's the driver right there getting out.
