कोलकाता की घटना के बाद से अब लगभग सारे राजनीतिक और सामाजिक संगठन सड़कों पर हैं। इस दौरान डॉ एस के पोद्दार ने कहा, IMA ने आज के 24 घंटे की हड़ताल का आह्वान किया था। हमारी अभी तक कोई मांगे नहीं मानी गई है। सेंट्रल प्रोटेक्शन एक्ट जो पहले पार्लियामेंट में आया हुआ है राज्यसभा में पेश भी किया गया था उसके बाद उसको ठंडे बस्ते में डाल दिया गया 8 साल से वह ठंडे बस्ते में है। हम यह चाहते हैं कि जिस बच्ची के साथ गलत हुआ है उसको न्याय मिले।
