00:00We all know that prices went up during the pandemic when the supply chains shut down and failed.

00:09But our supply chains have now improved and prices are still too high.

00:17A lot. A loaf of bread cost 50 percent more today than it did before the pandemic.

00:23Ground beef is up almost 50 percent.

00:28Many of the big food companies are seeing their highest profits in two decades.

00:34And while many grocery chains pass along these savings, others still aren't.

00:43Look, I know most businesses are creating jobs, contributing to our economy and playing by the rules.

00:52But some are not. And that's just not right.

00:56And we need to take action when that is the case.
