00:00So can you tell us more about SINING, how did the project come to be?

00:11SINING happened because Dionela has been singing my songs ever since I was 5 years old,

00:20so he's always wanted to do a collaboration with me.

00:23So finally, he found a friend that I know.

00:27He found her and we exchanged information.

00:32But what solidified our collaboration is that we met at the RX Concert Series

00:38because my wife, Mika, is a guest there and Dionela is also there.

00:43I didn't know that was happening, so I just went there, I came from work,

00:48I went to Mika, and I saw Dionela playing guitar on the floor,

00:53and she was singing because it was her set.

00:56I heard her and I was really impressed.

01:00After the set, I called her and said,

01:02Bro, you're really good, I'm really interested in doing a collab,

01:07so here's my information.

01:10And it's amazing.

01:12Of course, on the way home, I did some research on her,

01:17and I saw that her viewership was really high.

01:20At the time, she had 2.1 million monthly listeners, and I had 500,000.

01:28So I was like, wow, this is okay.

01:31But it wasn't the numbers that decided why I wanted to do a collab with her.

01:38I saw that she was kind, very talented, very driven.

01:42That's what inspired me to do a collab with her.

03:16What did you feel when you filmed it?

03:31We were number 1 for 25 days,

03:33and even more of a surprise,

03:35we were able to enter the top 60 global charts,

03:40and there were no Filipinos doing it yet.

03:42We were the first Filipinos.

03:44So there were a lot of surprises, until now, everyday.

03:47Now, our next surprise that we're anticipating,

03:52is 2 million streams a day.

03:54We're already at 1.9 million.

03:56So it's a very exciting time now.

04:08Yes, we always call each other.

04:10Everytime we have a milestone to achieve,
