2 ex-PMA cadets convicted of murder, 1 guilty of hazing in Dormitorio death

Three former cadets of the Philippine Military Academy are found guilty of hazing and killing freshman cadet Darwin Dormitorio. They are all sentenced to reclusion perpetua.

00:12Trial Court convicts Shalimar Imperial Jr. and Felix Lumbag Jr. of murder and Julius
00:17Carlo Tadena of violating the anti-hazing law. All three were a batch ahead of 20-year-old
00:23Dormitorio when he died in September 2019 from serious injuries inflicted by his fellow cadets.
00:29The incident exposed the long-entrenched culture of hazing in the country's top military school,
00:34which is run by the Armed Forces of the Philippines. The court orders Imperial and
00:38Lumbag to each pay P3 million in fines and Tadena to pay P2 million.
00:44They are all sentenced to reclusion perpetua.
