देश के चार राज्यों और केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों में इस साल विधानसभा चुनाव होने हैं। शुक्रवार को चुनाव आयोग ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस कर इनमें से दो राज्यों हरियाणा और जम्मू कश्मीर में विधानसभा चुनाव का ऐलान कर दिया। मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त राजीव कुमार ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि जम्मू कश्मीर में तीन चरणों में 18, 25 सितंबर और 1 अक्टूबर को चुनाव होंगे जबकि हरियाणा में 1 अक्टूबर को एक ही चरण में चुनाव संपन्न होंगे। दोनों राज्यों के चुनावी नतीजे 4 अक्टूबर को आएंगे।

04:45day 28th and date of poll will be 18th of September and it's a Wednesday.
04:52So we are also keeping that in mind, not keeping Fridays and Mondays to give a longer
04:59holiday spell.
05:00Second phase would be on 29th of August and the statutory period of nominations and all,
05:09poll being on 25th of September and phase three, nomination on 5th of September and
05:18every voting finishing on 1st of October.
05:22So counting would be on 4th of October and everything would be over, bind up on 6th of
05:32October.
