00:00Okay, so Charlie, we've got your four bag of clubs here.
00:02We're going to take everyone at home through what's in your bag and why.
00:06So, let's start with the wedges.
00:11So, you've got a 60 degree, 54, 50 degree.
00:14Is that the same setup you've had for a long time?
00:16Yeah, pretty much. It's just enough gaps in all the different, you know,
00:19the wedges to play different shots with in my shot game.
00:21You've obviously got the new MG4 there.
00:23Yeah.
00:23In the 60. How are you finding that one?
00:25I really like it. I put it in the bag at US Open and it really helped a lot on the greens.
00:28So, it was in straight away. That's good signs.
00:30Yeah.
00:31Yeah, I mean, obviously, I've worked with you a little bit now and obviously,
00:35you know, be a common theme through the bag is that you haven't really changed too much.
00:39You like what you like.
00:40Exactly, yeah.
00:40And we keep things fairly kind of simple and year on year.
00:44Moving on into the irons.
00:48So, something that's quite unusual, I would say, for an LPGA player is you're playing blades.
00:52So, we've got the 50 degree straight into pitch and wedge, P7MB right through to the 4 right there.
00:57So, like I say, that's quite unusual, I'd say, for an LPGA player.
01:01Not any more than I know that play a set of blades through the bag and obviously into the shafts.
01:05Again, 125 grams is pretty heavy, but something that you got used to and you like.
01:10I've always played blades since I was a kid.
01:12Like, my first set of clubs was blades and I've always never ever not played anything other than them.
01:18Actually, I used to play tailor-made clubs with the blades back 10, 15 years ago when I was 9, 10 years old.
01:23For everyone at home, like, how far would you say you hit the 4 right?
01:26190.
01:27190 and then you're moving up into a hybrid.
01:29Carry like 208.
01:30208. So, you've got an 18 yard gap there.
01:33Pretty standard once you get up this end of the bag.
01:36And then my 3 was my 230 to 235.
01:38Okay, good.
01:39And then, do you know how far would be an average carry? I know it depends on conditions.
01:43About 255, 250.
01:44255. So, you've got a pretty good spread there.
01:46And are you good at, like, say, manipulating the yardages?
01:49So, you've got an in-between and you've got a 220.
01:51I like to, like.
01:52Would you be hitting a hard hybrid or a soft hybrid?
01:54Depends on kind of what's around the green, but sometimes I'll hit, like, a firm drawy rescue
01:58or I'll just hit, like, a nice little feathery, fadey 3 with him.
02:05So, yeah, let's go up to the driver.
02:06So, stealth 2 driver, 8 degree.
02:08Again, very unusual for an LPGA player to play quite a low lofted driver like that.
02:13Talk us through the driver and why you like that setup.
02:15I don't really like it too spinny and anything more loft, it was getting a bit spinny.
02:18So, that was better for me and I've always had this shaft, probably for, like, 10 years now.
02:22And I don't make it no more, so I've got to be careful.
02:24I don't snap any clubs.
02:25Everything here, to me, looks like it's geared towards low spin.
02:29And then you're moving on from that, you're in the TP5X, right?
02:32Which is the low spin golf ball.
02:33So, everything seems to me about keeping the ball flight down.
02:36Oh, 100%, yeah.
02:41So, yeah, that's the golf ball.
02:42And then putter, TP Soto putter.
02:46Pretty traditional.
02:47Yeah, I like a traditional putter.
02:50Obviously, I was brought up playing Scotty Cameron putter, but then you guys come with me to this
02:55and I really, really liked it and I like playing with it.
02:58And again, this is, what, in about two and a half, three years with this one now?
03:01Yeah, it's been two and a half years, yeah.
03:03So, the common theme here is really not much changes.
03:05You try and change as little as possible because you like what you like and you know what you know.
03:09Yeah, I'm quite a traditional player, I think.
03:11That's, we've basically gone through your bag there.
03:13TP5X golf ball, Soto putter, MG4 and MG3 wedges there.
03:18P7MB irons and then a little bit of a mix-up in the woods.
03:23Stealth 2 driver, 8 degree.
