00:07On August 29, 2024,
00:11a very tragic incident took place with one of our colleagues.
00:14A doctor who was studying at R.G.Kar Medical College
00:17was raped and murdered.
00:21Taking this into consideration,
00:23all the doctors in India
00:26called for a strike.
00:29But the Madhya Pradesh Doctors Association
00:32made an effort to stop the rape of innocent patients.
00:36And because of this,
00:38we did not choose a strike,
00:42but instead held candle marches, prayers and other events.
00:47But on the night of August 14,
00:50when people and the entire country
00:53were preparing to celebrate the day of freedom,
00:58around 400 people entered R.G.Kar Medical College
01:03and raped innocent patients.
01:08And in the seminar hall where this incident took place,
01:11we tried to put out the fire.
01:14All the resident doctors of India
01:16saw this live.
01:19After that, all the junior doctors of Madhya Pradesh
01:23came to the conclusion
01:26that the central government
01:28will have to bring a protection law.
01:31And all the criminals in Bengal
01:34who are bent on saving the innocent,
01:38will have to hand over the law to the unknown.
01:42With this demand,
01:44all the junior doctors of Madhya Pradesh,
01:47all the junior doctors associations
01:49and all the junior doctors associations in India
01:53announced a strike.
01:56From the 16th of August,
01:58we will start the routine services.
02:02On the 15th of August is the day of freedom.
02:05We have started the routine services today.
02:09But from the 16th of August at midnight,
02:13all the routine services will be stopped.
02:18Emergency services will continue,
02:22because we don't want any innocent to die.
