00:00Meralco will only increase its price this month. It is expected to rise again in October. The Energy Regulatory Commission has approved the request of Meralco to adjust the rate of electricity
00:11they will get from two natural gas-fired power plants. The price will increase from P32 to P33 cents per kilowatt-hour in 12 months starting in October.
00:24For Meralco customers who consume 200 kilowatt-hours of electricity per month, the price will rise to P66 from their electricity bill.
