00:00You know what I love about this movie is, take away the romance part of it, it's about
00:05a woman who kind of bounces back after a setback.
00:08Yes.
00:09Do you, can you relate to that at all?
00:11Oh my God, of course.
00:12I mean, many, many setbacks.
00:14But I think what's great about the movie, it brings hope and joy.
00:19I think hope to older women who haven't found love, or who think if I'm dealing with menopause
00:23or this or that, I'm not going to be lovable, and it's like you can be lovable and sexy
00:29and still be intimate.
00:30Right.
00:31Yeah.
00:32I feel like people still shy away from talking about things like menopause or arthritis and
00:35things like that.
00:36Right.
00:37Why do you think that is?
00:38You know, there's a stigma around it, but to me, the alternative is not being around
00:42at all.
00:43Right.
00:44So I'd rather deal with these things.
00:45And I think we are getting to a place, in terms of women, being able to take the shame
00:49away from things and still, you know, be thriving and looking out for one another.
00:55I think the more we talk, the more we know.
00:57No, it's so true.
00:58Yeah.
00:59Do you embrace the aging process?
01:00Listen, at first, no.
01:01Sure, yeah.
01:02But, yes, I do.
01:03Because I think, again, we are looking better, feeling better, living longer, able to do
01:10things.
01:11I want to be able to hang out with my kids and my grandson.
01:14And so, yeah, I'm okay with it.
01:17Definitely.
01:18You know, a lot of people will be talking about this movie in regards to the relationship
01:22and an older woman dating a younger man.
01:25Yeah.
01:26What was that important for you to kind of highlight in this movie, too?
01:28You know, it was important because it's all about being open, right?
01:32Find love where you can get it.
01:33I'm not saying that means you need to run out and find, you know, a young guy all the
01:37time.
01:38But I think it's being open to the idea of being loved, you know, being lovable so that
01:42someone loves you.
01:43And I think what's great about it is that we wanted to find someone who was young enough,
01:48but man enough.
01:49So you would believe that she would fall for him.
01:52And I think the connection was there and what he was going through.
01:55And it just made sense.
