00:00So, tonight, you've got the Eagles and Pats, I believe, in preseason football in Foxboro
00:11at Gillette.
00:12Pats laying three, thirty-fives the total, NFL Network, seven o'clock up in Boston.
00:19You know what, Scott, Kenny Pickett will get a lot of playing time once again this evening.
00:24The Philadelphia Eagles won the football game last week against the Baltimore Ravens, but
00:28their offense was pretty putrid for the most part.
00:33Now, guys, for those of you betting on the preseason, you can really learn a lot by paying
00:38attention to the intra-squad scrimmages that go on during the week.
00:42You know, you can watch the video, you know, you just sort of soak it all in because it's
00:46out there, and it's a lot more telling.
00:50But the Eagles have been just sort of dominating the Patriots in the scrimmages this week,
00:56which isn't a full surprise, but the Patriots have punched back a bit.
01:01The reason the Patriots are favorite tonight by three points is because of their quarterback
01:05rotation.
01:06They play everybody, so you've got Jacoby Brissette, you've got Drake May, their future
01:11quarterback, their stud out of North Carolina, and you've got Bailey Zahapi.
01:16So you've got some quarterbacks there that, you know, not bad as far as a preseason game
01:21is concerned.
01:22Much better than Tanner McKee and Kenny Pickett is.
01:26And I'll ask you, Scott, you were a Steeler fan, and I think right now, I think Philadelphia
01:31is starting to realize we might have a problem if Kenny Pickett's our backup quarterback.
01:37You and I talked about the importance of backup quarterbacks, it's no joke, and there's a
01:41big drop-off.
01:42Like, Kenny's just not taking that next step.
01:44I know it's only been one week of preseason, but hearing everything coming out of camp
01:48here, it's not like Kenny Pickett's lighting it up, Scott.
01:51I want to take the Eagles tonight plus the three and just sort of hold my breath, and
01:56I'm just like, listen, I'm getting three points in a preseason game.
01:58But what I will say is I like the under.
02:00The Eagles don't care about the preseason as evident as the players that they're playing.
02:05And the Patriots, they can't score.
02:08I mean, like, it was a low-scoring game against the Panthers.
02:12I'm expecting just a slugfest tonight.
02:14They've already beaten each other up all week in practice.
