00:00Computer Science videos here today to show you guys in this tutorial how to

00:04create the admin's email address for your business using Office 365 and a Mac

00:10computer. Without further ado, let us start the video. So in this tutorial, you need

00:15to have access to a Mac computer, have access to Office 365 and all the

00:20applications that we will be using in the near future. So we can all go down

00:24to the dock, go to the web browser which is Safari in this case. Now go to

00:28office.com, Office 365. Make sure you are signed into the account. If you're not

00:35sure how to do that, go to my previous tutorials where I walk you through the

00:40process of how to sign into your account. So we can now go to the left-hand side

00:45navigation menu, go to admin, the admin center where everything takes place.

00:52Let's go to the three lines, the navigation menu, go to users, go to active

01:00users. From this part of the application or should I say the admin center, we can

01:08create a new user for the business. As you can see on screen, I have my original

01:16account, rayhan at computer science videos.com as I am the managing director

01:21of computer science videos itself. Now let's add an account for the admin. If I

01:27ever do employ an administrator for the business in the near future, this will be

01:32the account that they use on a regular basis. So what will the admins activities

01:38include on a daily basis? Well, the administrator will have to provide

01:44office support to either an individual or the team and this is very vital for

01:50the smooth running of a business. The duties may include fielding telephone

01:55calls, receiving and directing visitors, while processing on a regular basis,

02:01creating spreadsheets and presentations and filing. So let's click on add a user,

02:11set up the basics. To get started, fill out some of the basic information on who

02:17you're adding as a user. So we can change the name in the near future. However, we

02:25will be adding an administrator, first name admin, display name admin, user admin.

02:36It's checking to see if it's available. Yes, it is. Automatically create a

02:41password, require this user to change their password when they first sign in.

02:46No, send password and email upon completion to my email address. So let's

02:53click on next. What we will now do is assign the user a product license. As you

03:03can see on screen, Microsoft 365 business standard. You will have access to all the

03:09applications. Let's now click on next. We can also select the role of the

03:15administrator, what you wish for him or her to have access to at the moment. No

03:22admin access, so we will leave it the way it is. Profile information, we can then

03:29fill out the rest of the information. The job title will be administrator. And

03:42then all the other information we can fill in once they are here working for

03:48us. Let's just click on next. Yes, finish adding. Now click on close and there we

04:03are. The admin email address for computer science videos has now been created with

04:10the license to that user. So we can now quit Safari. And so that's it for this video.
