Self Accountability In Institution | Pak Army In Action | Big News
Transcript
00:00Wazir-e-Ittala Tata Tarrar says, an institution has started the process of accountability by
00:04giving a ban to the self-accountable.
00:06They praise this process of accountability.
00:08After the press release of ISPR, three more officers have been taken into custody.
00:12Faiz Hamid has been arrested.
00:13After the investigation, more arrests have been made.
00:16To talk about all this, we have with us Renuma Muslim League Noon, Mr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry.
00:21Mr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, thank you very much.
00:23You gave your precious time to ARY.
00:24Sir, what will you comment on this?
00:27Look, it is a very good thing that the institution of our army is always known for its merit.
00:39And all the promotions and speeches in it are purely based on merit.
00:47And if their senior officers, for example, General Faiz Hamid, have been proven to be
00:54breaking the laws of the Pakistan Army, then a formal action has been taken against them,
01:04which is very worrisome.
01:06That there is self-analysis in this institution as well.
01:10So, I think this is a very appreciable thing.
01:19But at the same time, the things that are coming forward are very worrying.
01:25Pakistan is our country, and strengthening Pakistan and strengthening its institutions
01:31is not the responsibility of a single political party.
01:34It is a collective responsibility of all of us.
01:37But it seems that a single political party and the networks that were running parallel to it
01:45are not only on the path of weakening institutions, they are also on the path of weakening the state.
01:52And of course, dealing with them and teaching them a lesson,
02:00that why do you want to weaken this country in the face of economic, administrative, and terrorism?
02:17And why do you want to create an imaginary crisis in the country?
02:21Why do you want to create an uncertainty in the country,
02:30which will not lead to investment in the country, nor is it coming,
02:34nor are the businessmen in Pakistan ready to do business openly.
02:39So, the environment that needs to be created, I think, is the opposite of enmity with the country.
02:46Our politics is in the political arena, and we want to fight politics in the political arena.
02:54But when you make Pakistan the battlefield, then the country is at a loss.
03:00And the situation that we are seeing, and the word network that I have used,
03:05that is in Imran Khan's own government, and even after that,
03:11and whose taunts we are seeing inside and outside of Pakistan,
03:17they are still there.
03:19Sometimes you see them in the UK, that their people are lobbying there,
03:25and Pakistan is making an opposing statement.
03:28Similarly, in America, lobbyist firms are hiring them,
03:33against Pakistan, there is propaganda, and a negative environment is being created.
03:42Where can this be in the interest of this country?
03:46Where does this come under the category of patriotism?
03:50Okay, governments keep changing.
03:53Today's government can be tomorrow's opposition,
03:56today's opposition can be tomorrow's government.
03:58This has always been going on.
04:00The biggest attack that we have seen,
04:03is on the state institutions of Pakistan,
04:05on their leaders, on the state,
04:08which is not acceptable in any way.
04:12And what has just started,
04:15in the coming days, there is a lot of information,
04:18which cannot be shared.
04:20As time goes by, the arrests that have been made,
04:23the more people connected to this network,
04:25the more officers arrested,
04:27earlier their names were not coming forward,
04:29now they have been told.
04:31And what other steps were there,
04:37what were the things that are against the Army Act,
04:40which are against the rules of Pakistan,
04:43under which this network was working,
04:45will now gradually come forward.
04:48Okay, Mr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, thank you very much for your time.
04:51Tariq Fazal Chaudhry was talking to ARY News,
04:54and he said that the Pak Army has come to see the merit itself.
04:57There was a network with the Special Political Committee.
