केंद्रीय कृषि मंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने दिल्ली में आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम में कहा कि मोदी जी के मन की बात कार्यक्रम की तर्ज पर किसान की बात कार्यक्रम जल्द ही शुरू किया जाएगा। कृषि वैज्ञानिक, विभाग के अधिकारी बैठेंगे और किसानों को जानकारी देंगे। हमारा काम किसान और विज्ञान को जोड़ना है। अनुसंधान सीधे किसान के खेत में पहुंचे और किसानों को तुरंत लाभ मिले, ये हमारा प्रयास है। किसान अन्नदाता हैं, भारत की धड़कन हैं, पीएम मोदी का संकल्प है कि अन्नदाता को सुखी तथा समृद्ध बनाना है। पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी के दिल में कृषि और किसान है। उनकी सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता किसान भाई-बहनों का कल्याण है। साथ ही उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि जल्दी वह कृषि मंत्रालय के अधिकारी और मंत्री के साथ किसानों के साथ बातचीत करेंगे और उनसे सुझाव लेंगे और अपने सुझाव उनको देंगे।
