00:00I started playing when I was about 4 or 5, but I used to watch my dad play when I was
00:23much younger than that. Yeah, so I started like smaller lessons when I was younger, but
00:32then when I was 6 I started my grade 1 exam.
00:35Just remind me where you're up to now on the grade scale.
00:39I'm doing grade 8, so I'm doing the first level of diploma now.
00:45Oh wow. At only 11 years old you can teach someone PLA.
00:49I sometimes teach my younger sisters PLA at home.
00:52Do you? Do they like it? Are they good students?
00:56Yeah.
01:16Do you ever play piano with your dad?
01:18Yeah.
01:19What do you ever sing when he's playing piano?
01:23Sometimes with my songs when I'm singing. I'm doing grade 3 singing currently.
01:31He'd play the notes on the piano and I'd sing to it.
01:35But when I was younger he was playing one of his own pieces.
01:39I'd just hum with it and dance around things because I really liked it.
01:50You didn't even have the sheet music in front of you.
01:53No.
01:54Have you played that song quite a lot?
01:56Yes, I remember it.
