00:00This morning, millions in Los Angeles on alert for potential aftershocks.
00:08After that startling 4.4 magnitude earthquake rattled Southern California.
00:12Oh man, that's pretty strong.
00:15It felt like the wall was being taken out below me.
00:17It felt like the whole ground was going away from under me.
00:20The epicenter just north of downtown LA, happening around 12.20 p.m. Monday.
00:25Whoa, whoa, that is a real one, guys.
00:28The ESPN studio shaking as the quake struck while they were live on air.
00:32We have a bit of an earthquake here in Los Angeles, so we're just going to make sure
00:36that our studio lights, everything stays safe, everything's shaking.
00:39The tremor breaking a sprinkler pipe at Pasadena City Hall and briefly trapping one person
00:44in an elevator.
00:45We have an additional elevator entrapment.
00:48Students seen here evacuating buildings on their first day back to school.
00:52We put our heads under the table and we hold on to the table.
00:58Officials now telling teachers to prepare their students for larger earthquakes.

01:18time to warn people to be prepared for an earthquake, reminding folks, if you feel
01:23any shaking, that's your cue to drop, cover, and hold on.
