00:00It was kind of challenging, I have to admit, because at the first place they wanted something
00:27new, so I felt super comfortable about the fact that I could work like I do for my mural.
00:36But then I had to think about all the rules that I have to follow for the flowers, because
00:42I was totally free for the design, but my lines are really, really thin, and I had to
00:48think about it's not in centimeters, but in flowers.
00:52So I had to adapt some details, and it was really interesting.
00:56We started, I think, at the beginning of the year.
01:01They contacted me in the first place, and then we had this meeting in Brussels to talk
01:07about the project and how it works.
01:09And then I came back in my atelier, I worked on the sketches, I did some proposals, and
01:15they were super happy.
01:16I knew that we wanted to talk about Brussels City, and because I work on my work, I do
01:24some relation between human being and nature, it's what I want to express and talk about,
01:32about the diversity, about preserving the nature.
01:36So I started to think about some phenomenon that happened in the nature, and I thought
01:44about the rhizome, this connection between the vegetables that are not linear, that there
01:51is no hierarchy neither, and it made me feel to Brussels City and all the hoods that are
01:58connected together, all this diversity of language, of history, a lot of things, and
02:04this is what I wanted to express.
02:06And on the other way, my work is really focused on the movement too, because I'm coming from
02:12contemporary dance, so I always think about the movement, and I wanted to express this
02:17way that we are walking down the street in the city, which is never linear, you know,
02:23you always have to turn around obstacles, and this is why there is that movement in
02:28my work too.
