Olympics star Alysha Newman says her OnlyFans page CRASHED after she twerked in Paris  Olympian Alysha Newman left the Paris Games with a bronze medal - and also a massive boost to her bank account and social media following.  The Canadian pole vaulter, who has operated an OnlyFans page since before the Tokyo Games, went viral last week when she celebrated her new Canadian record vault with an impromptu twerk celebration.  And that moment briefly led to her site on the platform crashing afterwards, she revealed to Mail Sport, with her and her team huddling on a call with OnlyFans software employees to remedy the issue.   Newman also added that she's received 20,000 new subscribers (and counting) on the platform since the start of the Games.  The website is used by many to post nude content (Newman teases 'access to my naughtiest content' in a recent post), but the 30-year-old said she also uses the site to 'connect with fans' and give them an inside glimpse into her life as an elite athlete.

00:17How much of a role did that help you in funding the trip to Paris and how much

00:22support financially did Canada give you in getting to the tournament?

00:27They're paying for our room and board, our accommodations for the athletes, but I definitely

00:31paid for my coaches to go there for them to stay up. I mean, I'm covering all those costs.

00:36It's been a financial thing that definitely has changed my life.

00:39From these games, and obviously you had that celebration that kind of went viral, but

00:43just from you winning a medal also in these games,

00:46have you seen an increase in your subscribers and the money that's coming?

00:51Oh, for sure. I would say like even Instagram, I'd say like 10 times more than the previous

00:58months. And so it's quite insane. My whole team actually had to get on a phone call because a lot

01:05of the website was crashing because of how many people actually came on. So we're like,

01:10hey, what are our plan B? What are we going to do? Help me get some heavier software. So I know

01:15a lot of the OnlyFans software people were jumping on the call with me. I need to be able to

01:20answer everybody and send the videos out. I was sending actually before this phone call,

01:24up close picture of my medal and showing just thanking people for being a part of this support

01:29and showing what box it comes in, the Louis Vuitton box, and then the Nike box that they

01:34give me. So people were so stoked to be able to be that up close with a medal and to know,

01:40like be the first people to see it, you know? Yeah. Is there like a ballpark,

01:44like percentage like rise or something like that, that you could put on it?

01:48I've gotten over 20,000 new subscribers. Wow. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. And it's still coming in.

01:56I think I've almost up 200,000. Wow. 200,000 more.

02:01On Instagram and then about 20 more thousand on OnlyFans.

02:05You mentioned like getting your coaches to the Olympics and like using the money for that.

02:10What are other sort of expenses that, you know, people wouldn't kind of consider that

02:15are inconvenient that, you know, this platform allows you to sort of take care of and not have

02:20to worry about as much? I mean, there's a lot of things I did. I actually turned my whole house

02:25into this wellness house. So I bought a barrel sauna. I bought a cold plunge, a hot tub and a

02:30hyperbaric chamber. So my whole house has this huge wellness. Everyone laughs at me. And when,

02:37every time they come over, they come over for like a VEDA spa, like they want to come and just

02:42calm and relax.
