00:43Peter Okoye accused their elder brother of trying to oppress him.
00:47Adding, instead of his younger and twin brother, Paul to work together with him to build Peace
00:52Square, he decided to pitch tent with Judo in the open letter he described as someone
00:56not helping matter.
00:58Peter in the second letter he issued same day attributed the likely cause of problems
01:03in the Peace Square group to their elder brother, Jude, whom he accused was always
01:07stealing their money while they were together as Peace Square.
01:10According to Peter, their elder brother secretly created a company similar to the name of the
01:16original company they were using to receive royalties as Peace Square.
01:20Adding, unknown to him, the elder brother diverted millions of dollars and naira of
01:25their money to the secret company account which he said both the elder brother and wife
01:29ifoma were the directors of the company.
01:32And the address of the registered secret company was the family house of his elder brother's
01:36wife.
01:38He said he never petitioned his twin brother before EFCC, rather, it was his elder brother,
01:43Jude that was petitioned, invited, questioned and detained by the EFCC.
01:49Media reports indicated that Paul Okoye had in a recent interview said,
01:53I had planned to perform Pampalat as Rude Boy, but Onyeka Onwenu and Mr. Ibu informed
01:58me that they would not appear in the video if my brother Peter was left out.
02:03I am the one who composed 99% of Peace Square's songs, but I will never admit it publicly.
02:09I wrote that song while we were having problems.
02:12Mr. Ibu and Onyeka Onwenu were the two parents featured in the Pampalat video.
02:18I recall discussing the Pampalat video shoot with Onyeka Onwenu the last time I spoke with her.
02:24I had to say what I am about to say, even though I really don't want to.
02:29Upon contacting her, I informed her that the song wasn't intended for Peace Square.
02:34Foundry Stepper in its report recently indicated that while speaking in an interview with City
02:39FM, Paul said, out of four brothers working together, everybody plays their part.
02:44It is not just a money thing.
02:47At some point, it felt like I was the one doing all the music, so I had to move so he,
02:52Peter, could do the music as well.
02:55I was accused of claiming that I was the singer, while he was the dancer.

03:31he suggested that both of them should contribute five songs each to the album.
03:36All of a sudden, Keith Peter said he wanted to quit and I asked him if we could make the
03:41news public but he refused.
03:43The implication was that if I went solo, people would see me as a bad person.
03:49That was why I decided to speak.
03:51Otherwise, I have over 200 songs that I don't know what to do with them.
03:56I feel the fans need to start knowing these things.
03:59Recounting an incident that happened earlier in the year, Paul stated,
04:03something happened this year.
04:05I was invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over a petition written
04:10against me and my elder brother.
04:13When I got there, I asked them what happened.
04:15They had already printed out the statement of my bank account and they started an investigation.
04:21However, one month ago, they called us and our elder brother and declared us innocent.
04:28The only difference was our lifestyle.
04:30He took us back to a bank statement of 2007 over a $200,000 credit I got though we traced
04:37his part of the funds to a vehicle he bought.
04:40After the truth came out that I was innocent, he still did not apologize.
04:45I am not speaking up because I want to bring anybody down.
04:49He accused me of selling our music catalogue, the same catalogue I wrote 99% of.
04:56For now, I just want to continue my theme.
04:59Details of the two separate letters written by Peter Okoye read below verbatim.
05:04My dear brother Paul, just like I have told you several times,
05:08I am not in any competition with you or anybody else.
05:11However, seeing you grant countless interviews where you constantly discredit my efforts
05:16in the group that we both created and built together really speaks balls.
05:21In your recent interviews, you claimed that you wrote and sang 99% of all Peace Square
05:26songs and discredited me by saying that our song with T.I.
05:29Ejajo, which I wrote, was a failure.
05:32You went as far as using the YouTube views to discredit me once again.
05:37You never acknowledged the other songs like Earth Squared, Busy Body, Personally,
05:42Roll With, Temptation, Alingo, More Than A Friend,
05:46Shakini, Tell Your Love, Gimme That, Sinurita, Ibeju, and a few others.
05:51Were these songs also considered failures as well?
05:54Every time I have spoken in interviews about Peace Square,
05:58I have always used we and us because I saw us as a team.
06:02But whenever you speak, it's always I and me, even when I'm standing right beside you.
06:08It's as if I never existed.
06:10My brother, neither of us is the most talented artist in the world,
06:14but you failed to understand that God gave us this talent and even granted us
06:18another chance to excel after our last breakup.
06:22Instead, you chose to turn the most awarded and
06:24decorated music group in Africa into a laughingstock again.
06:28One thing you need to understand clearly is that the fans didn't fall in love with
06:32Peace Square because of who sang or danced the most.
06:36What made us special was the magic that came from our combined efforts, us two.
06:40Peace Square was a force and the fans fell in love with Peace Square because of our uniqueness
06:45and unity.
06:46We both have talent, no doubt, and I have often praised you in our interviews for your songwriting
06:52ability.
06:53I have also praised anyone who has ever written a song for us or even for me as Mr. P.
06:58But instead of showing gratitude for my kind words, you seem to find satisfaction in rubbing
07:04it in my face, forgetting that it is by God's grace that we have come this far.
07:08Rather than joining forces with me to reclaim our number one spot in the music industry,
07:13you chose to team up with Jude to claim the number one spot in the Peace Square group,
07:18always looking for opportunities to marginalize and humiliate me.
07:22You are always claiming to be Peace Square's songwriter, composer, producer, singer, backup
07:28vocalist.
07:29In fact, you are everything including Peace Square's video director, band promoter, manager,

09:24Before I tell you the whole story, here is what I need you all to understand.
09:29It's always surprising to me when people say Peace Square is always bringing their
09:33family matters into the public eye.
09:36Let me clarify this.
09:38Peace Square is not just a family, it's a public brand, but Peter, Paul, Ju, Anita,
09:43Ifoma, Lola, and the rest of our family members are family, but Peace Square is an entity
09:49that belongs to the public as much as it does belong to us.
09:53Our fans have played a significant role in our success, so they have the right to know
09:58what's happening with their beloved brand Peace Square.
10:01That's why it's understandable when certain aspects of our lives are shared publicly.
10:06Now, let's get straight to the point.
10:09I want to make it clear that I never reported my twin brother Paul to the EFCC.
10:14I know many of you were disappointed when Paul accused me of doing so.
10:18He mentioned that I wrote a petition against him, which he claimed made the EFCC to ask
10:23him to provide a surety.
10:26The statement suggested that he was detained, which is not true.
10:30Peter, Paul, and Jude own a management company together called Northside Entertainment, which
10:35we use to manage all of Peace Square's affairs.
10:38One day, I discovered another company with a similar name, but this one was called Northside
10:43Music instead of Northside Entertainment.
10:46This surprised me, so I decided to investigate further, and guess what?
10:51To my shock, the founders and directors of this secret company were none other than Jude
10:55Okoye and his wife, Ifeoma Okoye, and the registered address was the family home of
11:00Jude's wife.
11:01Still in shock, I knew I had to talk to Paul about it.
11:05I approached him multiple times, at least four different times, asking if he knew anything
11:10about this secret company and the whereabouts of some of Peace Square's royalties.
11:15Each time I met with him, he denied knowing anything about it.
11:19I want to set the record straight, I hereby challenge Paul or anyone else to show any
11:24petition that I, Peter Okoye, ever submitted against my twin brother Paul or that has
11:29Paul's name on it.
11:30I am still writing this with so much shock because I gave clear instructions to my legal
11:35team with a standing order that under no circumstances should Paul be included in my
11:40petition.
11:41Their focus was to remain solely on the primary suspects, Jude Okoye and his wife, Ifeoma
11:46Okoye, since they were the directors of this secret company.
11:50Not side music, Paul's recent interview about the EFCC incident contains a lot of
11:56lies.
11:57I watched and listened to Paul's interview, I was totally speechless and I kept asking
12:01myself, how does Paul have the audacity to publicly tell lies like this even with a
12:06respected and reputable agency like the EFCC?
12:10He claimed I petitioned him, but that's not something that ever happened to Paul.
12:15The truth is this was something that actually happened to Jude.
12:19The real story goes back to the shocking discovery I made, but what really got me very
12:24upset was finding out that for years, millions of dollars and hundreds of millions of
12:28Naira were being secretly diverted into this secret company's account Not Side Music
12:33from our own company, Not Side Entertainment.
12:36This was not just a minor issue, it was a massive betrayal that had been going on for
12:41several years.
12:43I understand that Paul is angry because I took this matter to the EFCC and I understand
12:48why.
12:49However, bearing in mind that I have met Paul and Jude separately and tried to discuss
12:54this matter and it yielded me with no positive answer, in fact the last time I approached
12:58Paul, the conversation got heated up and he said, and I quote, Peter, go and do your worst.
13:04At this step one was left with no other choice but to report to the authorities and take
13:09legal actions.
13:11Jude was then detained after being questioned.
13:14He came clean and admitted he had been diverting millions of dollars of our money to this
13:18secret company that he and his wife were the director of.
13:22All of Jude's bank accounts were immediately frozen.
13:25He was eventually released on bail after he managed to provide a truty and met the other
13:30bail conditions.
13:31Meanwhile, further investigations are still going on up until now.
13:35Paul's name was never mentioned in the petition because he was never a director of this
13:40secret company unless there is something he is hiding from all of us.
13:44Paul was only invited for questioning just like Jason Njoko of Iroko TV, Amadru Pinnick
13:50and others who had transactional dealings with Northside Music.
13:54The EFCC investigation found out that Northside Music had been secretly collecting PeaceQuest
14:00royalties over the years.
14:02These royalty money were sent to a bureau they changed then transferred to Jude's personal
14:07bank account.
14:08A closer look at Jude's account statement revealed that once the money entered his personal
14:13account, there were multiple transactions where he was splitting the funds equally with
14:17Paul, without Peter.
14:19This naturally led to some questions.
14:22After Jude confessed to diverting the funds, he also told the EFCC that the money he had
14:27been sending to Paul for several years wasn't about sharing money behind Peter's back.
14:32Instead, it was money he owed Paul from the sale of their house in America, which he was
14:36gradually paying back the loan.
14:39This is the reason why Paul has been telling everyone that the EFCC has cleared him, as
14:43if I ever wanted him to get into trouble with the EFCC.
14:48The story is very long, but I will tell it all in due time.
14:52For now, I will stop here until the EFCC sends the final report to my legal team.
14:58Once that happens, before heading to the law court, I will make the exact petition that
15:02doesn't include Paul's name public.
15:05I will also release the EFCC final report, receipts, and other documents related to this
15:11secret company, including the CSC registration, bank transactions, and bank statements that
15:17Jude set up with his wife, Ifeoma Okoye.
