00:05The Pinoy Pride is a grand welcome to the Heroes Welcome Parade

00:09for our upcoming athletes who will be competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

00:14Among those who waited and showed their support are the father, grandmother, and children of the two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo.

00:25It is a joyous occasion for the Pinoy Olympians at the Heroes Welcome Parade.

00:33Their success is more sweetened by the loud cheers of the crowd.

00:39From the Alley Oof Theater in Pasay, the 16-athlete's float was swung in some parts of Manila

00:45including the two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo.

00:48They played a game of fighting with the fans.

00:50They also fought and signed t-shirts, balls, posters, hats, and many more.

00:58In the middle of the fans, in Ross Boulevard, there is a banner that says,

01:02Kaloy, your father is here.

01:04Carlos' father, Mark Andrew, proudly cheered for his son while carrying people.

01:09He gave a thumbs up and greeted the direction of his father, Carlos.

01:14In a Facebook post, Carlos greeted his father and said that he is happy to see him.

01:20He also added, see you soon.

01:23When it comes to Taft Avenue, the parade slowed down as the crowd got more crowded.

01:27The confetti of the Coast Guard and Air Force helicopters was flying later on.

01:32On Querino Avenue, Carlos' grandmother, Angelita Pockys, and her siblings were waiting.

01:37Grandmother Angelita was happy to see Carlos even though she couldn't see him

01:42because she was giving an autograph to her grandson.

01:45After almost two hours, the motorcade arrived at Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

01:50The athletes were introduced to each other in the program.

01:53There was also a performance.

02:08While thanking each other, Carlos also promised to his fans.

02:13We will do better in the next competitions.

02:17You can expect that we will get more medals.
