संयुक्त राष्ट्र अमेरिका में रहने वाले भारतीय मूल के उद्यमी एवं निवेशक एमआर रंगास्वामी फिलहाल भारत में हैं। आईएएनएस से खाल बातचीत के दौरान उन्होंने बताया कि इस हफ्ते वो भारत में प्रभाव रिपोर्ट को लॉन्च करने वाले हैं जो अमेरिका और भारत के समुदाय के लोगों ने अमेरिका पर क्या असर डाला है। उन्होंने कहा कि 40 अलग-अलग मुद्दों पर बात करने वाले हैं। टेक्सटाइल सेक्टर में कई ऐसे सीईओ हैं जिन्होंने कई जॉब्स को बढ़ावा दिया‘। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने भारतीय मूल के डॉक्टरों और प्रोफेसरों की संख्या का जिक्र करते हुए संयुक्त राष्ट्र में उनके योगदान के बारे में बताया।

00:04In the tech sector, we have so many CEOs
00:07generating so many jobs in the US and in India.
00:10If you look at the health care community,
00:13the doctors in the US, they're 10% of the doctors.
00:16And they serve about 30 million American patients.
00:19Or if you look at academics, they're
00:2122,000 professors of Indian origin in the US.
00:24And they teach millions of college students.
00:26This bodes well for India, too, because this community
00:30is ready to help India in its move forward.
00:33And all this is documented in the Indiaspora Impact Report
00:37we recently did with the Boston Consulting Group.
00:40And so what that means is this successful and rich community
00:44is ready and is already giving back to India,
00:47both in terms of investing in Indian companies
00:49and the Indian stock market and Indian property,
00:52but is also giving philanthropic contributions
00:56to Indian NGOs and such.
00:58So I think this two-way partnership
