Two killed, four injured in car crash near Port Dickson
Two people were killed when their car collided with a backhoe carrying out excavation work near the Kg Gelam, Negri Sembilan traffic junction early Wednesday (Aug 14) morning.
Port Dickson police chief Supt Aidi Sham Mohamed said that four others travelling in the car suffered light injuries in the accident.

00:21The deceased were the 24-year-old car driver and an 18-year-old front-seat passenger who
00:27was a college student.
00:29The Fire and Rescue Department personnel had to extricate their remains from the wreckage.
00:34Two other female college students aged 18 and 19 and two males aged 17 and 16 were injured
00:41and were taken out from the wreckage by the public.
00:45Police said preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased driver was unemployed while
00:50the 17-year-old male teenager was a laborer and the 16-year-old was in secondary school.
00:56The driver was believed to have lost control of the vehicle while trying to avoid a cone
01:01and crashed into the backhoe.
01:03Eyewitnesses are urged to call the nearest police station to assist in investigations.
