00:00In the National League West or in the National League wildcard race, you just have to keep winning games to keep pace with San Diego and Arizona. That's the story for both San Francisco and Atlanta tonight. The Braves and the Giants once again by the Bay. What a pitching performance and a duel we got last night. Chris Sale and Blake Snell in the extra inning scoreless. The Braves win it in ten. One nothing.
00:29Atlanta had lost seven of its last eight entering the opener in San Francisco. A virtual pick'em today in game number two. Who gets the dub?
00:38It's really another coin flip as you take a look at it. If we're lining up pitchers today, again, last 60 days minimum 20 innings pitched on some of those analytical numbers. There's 24 pitchers on the card.
00:47How about this? Kyle Harrison eighth, Charlie Morton ninth. So stacked right against each other. We know this is a true pitcher's ballpark as well.
00:55But having said that, slightly above average, X-fit modest numbers for both of these. But these lineups leave a lot to be desired. We saw the total under yesterday. I mean, one to nothing in ten innings here. Easily stayed under that six and a half to seven numbers that were out there.
01:08Now you're going to give me an eight and a half in this. And again, the pitchers yesterday, not nearly as good today on the bump. I understand that. I still think this stays under the total.
01:17I don't have a decided advantage on either pitcher or either lineup. I'll just say those lineups, I don't care what the law of average. Oh, they didn't score yesterday. They scored today. It might happen. I'm still saying, I don't think they get the nine runs today, Ben.
